Thank God for secularism

The miracles, the healing, the raising the dead these are symbolic of spiritual healing, everything Christ said was about spirit not flesh

But acts humans do affects our spirits. Fornication, adultery, murder, homosexual acts, these are all acts of the flesh that diminish the spirit.

You keep forgetting to tell me which Bible you use, Orthodox, Catholic or Protestant, are you trying to evade the question?
I typical stick with Catholic, but also refer to original Hebrew for the Old Testament.

So you regard the apocryphal books as inspired - but how do you know they are?
How do you know they aren’t?

Because nun-humper Luther said so?

The Jews who spoke Greek at the time of Jesus used the Septuagint, which had these books. The majority of Jews used the Septuagint, since most Jews were not in Palestine at that time.

So is homosexuality a sin or not?
I simply don't know, as I said one has to interpret scripture, there's no getting away from that.

What is homosexuality anyway? two men living together? sex between them? what if one is intersex but dresses as a man, you going to condemn them?

Then you speak of "sin" but that's far from clear, Jesus can forgive sin too so what's the big deal?

If I don't know exactly what these things mean then how can I take a position on your question?

Like many "Christians" you want to compartmentalize others, you need to draw attention to their "sins" so you can forget about your own conduct.

This isn't the place for a theological discussion, so if you really want to discuss this just start a thread in the religion section, I'll participate.

I know, there are arguments for and against, some good some not so good, in the end we simply choose one, we have to make a choice.

There is plenty of scripture on the subject. But since is says stuff you don’t like, you then come up with the requirement that it must be addressed in the Gospels in order for you to really believe it.

Homosexuality is the act of man laying with man as man does with woman. Stop playing games you know exactly what it is.

Jesus can forgive us for our sins, but only if we confess those sins and do our best to not do them again. This means recognizing it is wrong and not to go around promoting your sin as if it is a virtue, which is exactly what the LGBTQ crowd does as well as practically every Democrat.

Yes, we do need to draw attention to evil that is happening, so we can expose it, shame it, condemn it, and to get people to stop doing it. For the benefit of society, those individuals, and because that is what God wants.

If you do not hate evil, then you cannot love God. God commanded us to hate evil. That means rebuking it, and fighting it.
