I never could understand liberals and their point of view when it comes to shooting home invaders.
The whole, your property isnt worth someone's life, is bullshit even if they aren't armed.
It's real simple,if you dont want to die don't steal other people's shit. Call it a deterrent,it's the same thing as carrying a firearm,if they dont know if your ready to put a hole in their head they'll think twice before trying to rob you.

Lets off some blasts with shotgun...bags 2 out of 3.....

JUST REMEMBER:
  1. There are no good guys with guns.
  2. Under Joe's plan, that 17 year old would not have been allowed access to a gun and the whole family would have died.
  3. They'll likely try to prosecute the kid now, if not for anything else, maybe his age or for endangering the community.
  4. Lastly, the families of the attackers will try suing for wrongful death.

Good thing Texas has the Castle doctrine. By attempting to break into the home deadly force is justified in its defense.
The home is not the only place the Castle Doctrine covers. It covers multiple locations.

Just proving that everything is bigger in Texas, our law extends the "Castle Doctrine" beyond your residence to include your occupied vehicle and workplace. Inside your "castle," under certain circumstances, Texas law presumes you acted reasonably and justifiably if you use force or deadly force to defend yourself against an intruder who enters your occupied habitation, vehicle, or place of business or employment.
