Texas partners with Turning Point USA for chapters in every high school

It is if that club is the only one getting government protection.

It's a club that has been repeatedly targeted at both the college and high school level to be denied recognition.

It's getting the same protection any other club gets, the problem is the left is so hell bent on preventing right leaning clubs from existing things like this are needed to balance the field.

NYC protects the ever-loving shit out of LGBT alliance clubs, so please don't pretend this is anything new.

Personally, if a school permits one club it has to permit them all. I am fine with that. Government efforts to put one in every school is biased towards one point of view and goes against the concept of free speech and separation of church and state.
Turning point is not a church. And, regardless, the Gvt. partners with churches every day - e.g., food programs.

Might be a reason, considering Republican clubs are a staple of after school clubs.

So if there is a Democrat club, that would prevent Progressive clubs, and Democratic Socialist clubs, and any other club related to the existing one?

Yeah, you Marxist assholes don't like free speech because it exposes your lies.

Here's a hint, the side that censors speach....is NEVER the good guy.

Ever.

I’d like to see someone try to explain how forcing schools to start a club isn’t an anti-American thing to do

Go ahead, try
Forced Indoctrination, how could it fail...

Texas officials announced that is partnering with Turning Point USA, to require a club in every high school in the USA. I am sure there won't be any lawsuits.

Texas partners with Turning Point USA for chapters in every high school

Texas officials announced Monday they are partnering with Turning Point USA, the conservative organization whose co-founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated earlier this year, to put a club in every high school in the state.

Gov. Greg Abbott (R), Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) and Josh Thifault, Turning Point USA’s senior director, announced the initiative at a press conference, praising the “Club America” chapters — the high school branches — and warning schools not to interfere with them.

“Let me be clear: Any school that stands in the way of a Club America program in their school should be reported immediately to the Texas Education Agency,” Abbott said.

The Turning Point USA chapters were originally meant for college campuses but the group expanded to high schools with a self-reported more than 1,200 chapters.

“This is about constitutional principles,” the governor continued. “This is about a restoration of who we are as a country.”

Texas is the third state to announce a partnership with the group after Florida and Oklahoma.

The Texas Tribune reported the announcement came after a private conversation between the Lone Star State’s education commissioner and Thifault. Not long after the meeting, Patrick announced $1 million in campaign funds to support the effort.
Those dolts don't know anything about "constitutional principles".
