The post I quoted that included "temporary legal status" was your post. I never used that term. You did, and your use is inaccurate. There are too many here to deport all of them at once, so some sort of priority must be determined for deportations. Any sane person would agree that violent criminals should be the first group to concentrate on, and families who are working and raising their kids, and are virtually undistinguishable from any other normal family should be left for later. This is nothing more than a deferral of deportation for those families until the bad guys are dealt with, and a reasonable rout for them to become citizens. They aren't at least as advantageous to the country as citizens, they don't qualify for the deferral. If the crazy house would have allowed a vote on immigration reform, this wouldn't be necessary anyway. I know you have already heard all of this many times before, but you would rather make dumb statements than look at the reality of what this is.
