Terri Schiavo's Husband: Jeb Bush 'Put Me Through Hell'

There is no doubt whatsoever that Michael was blowing Terri's care money trying to kill her.

How whacked out is this? Her medical care money was being pissed away on efforts to end her life.

"The $700,000 or so earmarked for Mrs. Schiavo's medical care for the rest of her life has dwindled to about $350,000, court records show. Most was spent in the past two years on the intense legal fight that made its way to the U.S. Supreme Court and is still not over.

The money, which came from a 1992 medical malpractice case, has been used for Mrs. Schiavo's medical bills; her husband's attorney, who is fighting to remove her feeding tube; and a bank that manages the money.

Records show that George Felos, Michael Schiavo's litigation attorney, has been paid more than $200,000 since 1997. Another Schiavo attorney, Deborah Bushnell, got $27,000. Schiavo himself was reimbursed almost $6,000 for legal costs."

Going to the SC isn't cheap.

Why didn't Jeb Bush offer to pay for Terri's extended care?

Terri died peacefully in her husband's arms. She was not in pain - plus she was given pain medication. There is no way the hospice would have allowed her to die in pain.

By your standards believing that Terri died peacefully, I guess everyone at Auschwitz who died "just went to sleep peacefully with a little bit of gas to dispatch them gently into this good night".
Great. Now you're comparing a husband who acquired a court order to terminate his wife who was in a persistent vegetative state with the genocide of millions of healthy people. :eusa_doh:

You nutters are .... nuts. :cuckoo:

I swear the way the left cheered on Terri's death at the time if they'd had a "pay per view" to watch her die the likes of Lakhota would have subscribed.

They weren't dancing in the streets like the Palestinians on 9/11, but I'm sure they found ways to celebrate her murder, just like they celebrated forcing Elian Gonzolez back to his father in Cuba and the murder of the Weaver family in Idaho at Ruby Ridge. The only reason they don't jig like Palestinians is they're afraid of getting shot in the streets. They might be right about that.
Oh, the horror of reuniting a child with his father. And the Weaver's were killed under Bush. Lemme guess ... you'll vote for another Bush anyway, right?

That's not what I said at all. I said that no doubt if Lakhota believes that Terri died peacefully in her husbands loving arms that I'm sure she believes that people in gas chambers "just went to sleep".

Terri's own family encouraged him to start dating and to move on with his life.

So WHAT? Is he a little baby incapable of keeping his own vows. Okay, I'm going to tell you to go cheat on your wife now. It's okay. :D
His wife was dead for all intent and purposes. Her family had even accepted that and wanted him to get on with his life.

Oh sweet Lord. Her family never accepted that she was dead. Ever. They fought valiantly till the end.

Michael was content to keep Terri alive until he got the settlement money from the malpractice suit.

And then lo and behold out of the blue old murdering Mikey started saying that Terri told him she never wanted to be kept alive by artificial means.

BUT ONLY after he got the $$$$$$$$$$$$ from the lawsuit.
Complete bullshit. He first sought to have her feeding tube remove years after his case was settled, of which, he received only $300k.

Years after? He won the money in 1992. By mid 1993 he wanted a "do not resuscitate" order for her.

Check your time lines.

And $300,000 is chump change?
Stop lying, nutter. May, 1998. That's when Michael first went to court to have his wife taken off of life support. 5 years after settling his suit. And no, $300k is not chump change. Though that was before taxes. But then, he probably deserved more than that for what he went through.

Terri Schiavo Timeline - ABC News

I'm tellin' ya, if you nutters didn'didn't lie, you'd have nothing to say at all.

Why am I hammering on Jeb Bush? Two reasons:

1. I expect him to be the GOP presidential nominee.

2. I thought what he did to the Schiavos was unconscionable.

I didn't make any "excuses." I said it's up to her husband, that I'm making "excuses" doesn't even make sense. She married him, she died, it's up to him.
Marrying a woman does not give a man the right to kill her.

I agree. What does that have to do with the discussion?
Her husband & the Scientology cult murdered Terri Schindler Schiavo. That's what.

How do you murder someone who's already dead?

Schiavo had his reasons for wanting Terri dead. Money and his new love.

That's motive.

"Schiavo, a Clearwater respiratory therapist, lives with a woman to whom he had been engaged for five years, but his marriage still puts him in a favorable financial position.

Under Florida law, Schiavo will inherit his wife's money when she dies. Had he divorced her and let her parents become her guardians, there's a chance he would get nothing and possibly have to give up some of the money he was awarded from the lawsuit."

Stop your nonsense, nutter. For you to assert someone believes that is equating the two. You're ******* nuts. :cuckoo:

The ghost of Terri Schiavo will haunt Jeb's future presidential aspirations!
Doubtful

Really? Even after what Jeb did to Terri and Michael Schiavo? And what Jeb did to Al Gore in 2000? We remember!
The only idiots who care are left wingers ...who will vote for whatever asshat they are told to with a D next to their name. And the libertarians ...that will vote for some obscure nitwit with no chance of winning a general election.

No biggie.

Yes, we do, but you vote between two candidates who are identical, so we're the ones making a statement that we aren't happy with the crap candidates we are offered. You're feeding the government trolls.

Come on. If she was already dead why did they need to go to court to starve and dehydrate her to death?

Because she wasn't dead.
