Terri Schiavo's Husband: Jeb Bush 'Put Me Through Hell'

She was not in pain because she was brain-dead.

She was not in pain or suffering when she died, either. Because she died a long time before that.

How do you know pain is not a physiological response like a heartbeat? Understanding pain clearly requires brainwaves, but I don't see how you state as fact she didn't feel it.

The idiot keeps saying "she had no brain waives" as if repetition turns error into fact.

A wakeful unconscious state that lasts longer than a few weeks is referred to as a persistent (or 'continuing') vegetative state

The vegetative state is a chronic or long-term condition. This condition differs from a coma: a coma is a state that lacks both awareness and wakefulness. Patients in a vegetative state may have awoken from a coma, but still have not regained awareness. In the vegetative state patients can open their eyelids occasionally and demonstrate sleep-wake cycles, but completely lack cognitive function. The vegetative state is also called a "coma vigil". The chances of regaining awareness diminish considerably as the time spent in the vegetative state increases.[8]

Get the facts, you murderous Leftists!
We know the facts, and we know why it was his call.

he wasn't even at her bedside when she died. He didn't give two shits about her. Bottom line, she was burden to him and he wanted to be rid of her and collect the life insurance policy.
What he wanted was his wife back. After that it was for her to be at peace, which she wasn't because people like you wanted her alive even though she was dead.

Oh really? Is that why he was carrying on with another woman? :rolleyes-41:
After that much time? No worries, he waited longer than he probably should have, especially since they didn't have children. People die, even if we keep them alive for our sake not theirs, and moving on is what you do. He's not the bad guy, people like you are.

He waited till he got his share of the money from the malpractice suit.

Two years after he got the cash.I think it was before he started with Jodi.

She was not dead, as much as you would like to convince us that she was. Dead people don't respond to their family members. They don't respond at all. That was not the case with Terry. She was responsive.

There's no evidence she was responsive to anything. Just that if you take enough video of a brain dead person they might twitch when you said something after you edit it down.

Yes there is. Her parents amongst others witnessed her responses.
Well, the doctors and the courts disagreed so, now what?

Michael scored really big on the malpractice suit. A million. But that wasn't good enough because Mikey only got $300,00 and the rest went for Terri's care.

Michael waged an unceasing war to legally murder his wife. No living will. Just his say so that Terri never wanted to be alive with artificial means.

And the courts rolled with it. Unfreaking real.
You guys scream murder in this case like you do in abortion, and it's why no one listens to you or changes their minds.

She smiled when her parents came to see her. That is not a "reflexive action." That is a sign of happiness, whether you like it or not.

Your knowledge is wrong. Her parents and friends testified to that in court.

And yet these parents and friends didn't try to get control of her affairs away from him until AFTER the malpractice settlement.

They even let him live with them for a while when the malpractice was being litigated.
Before the settlement he was pretending he wanted to become a nurse and take care of her for the rest of his life.

Wow, he must have been a hell of an actor, then?

That he was. That he was. You all bought into the "I'm only trying to kill her for her own good" mantra while he's banging another woman every night.

Unreal.

You mean like how Michael is now crying about how abused he is ... And no one gives a shit? Even after you taking up his cause for two days on the internet?

Begging the question. I already addressed this. Again, no long term tape showed any consistent reaction.

:uhh: Where are you getting your info from? According to her friends and family, as well as some others (including nursing staff) Terry showed signs of recognition of her parents.

I'm not defending him personally, that is irrelevant to the law. From a legal perspective, I don't care either way. Being generous does not exempt you from the law, why you broke the law doesn't matter. If you want to convince me he's an ass, I won't put up a fight. But Terri was dead, she had no brainwaves. Whack your knee. Is that reflex your life? I don't think so.

How about this woman who just woke up hours before being disconnected?

Her name is Teri.

Mother, 56, wakes HOURS before her life support machine was due to be turned off
  • Teri Roberts, 56, was struck down by streptococcal toxic shock syndrome
  • She slipped into coma, her limbs turned black and her organs began to fail
  • Family reached devastating decision to switch off her life support machine
  • But just four hours before they had planned to do so, Mrs Roberts awoke
  • 'She just magically woke up,' overjoyed son, Ryan, told a press conference
  • After she woke up, Mrs Roberts was forced to have quadruple amputation
  • Now, she is focused on future - and is determined to 'walk and drive again'

Wow, the raw opinion of people who wanted their way. That's a great legal argument.

She wasn't a flat liner like Terri. No flat liner has ever woken up. Just the term, "wakes up." When you sleep, the implication, you dream. People in a coma dream. Flat liners don't. To dream, you have to have brainwaves. You know what they measure when they analyze dreamers? Brainwaves...

Terri was blind.

You're ******* wrong. She was not a "flat liner." She could breath on her own, and her heart was still beating.

I said government should "kill her?" Can you show me that quote?

BTW, you can't "kill" someone who's dead...

It's a strawman, I said what happens to her body after she died should have been up to her husband.
