I just don't see it. When you have term limits you just have swampees with different names.

How? I want to get re-elected to a second term. Am I going to try to please the swamp or those voting for me?

I had my second term, I’m a lame duck. Sure I can become a swamp creature. But after 4 years I’m gone and the cycle renews.

What we have now are swamp creatures serving 6 decades with no concern for anything except my next insider trade tip.

Yes, it will take a convention of the states, because Congress will never vote for term limits or to outlaw lobbying.

Many states are already onboard. I'd even say give them 3 terms, but that's it!

And no lobby money or preferred stock bribes and things like that.
