If they're stupid enough to tank the economy, there goes all hope of them preventing massive tax increases on the filthy rich, and corporations. With a tanked economy, there is no excuse tax increases would tank the economy, is there?

It also creates the opportunity to expand more social benefits, as a starving, homeless, and unemployed America isn't going to give a shit about anything pro capitalist bankers and politicians think about anything.

For all your optimism, the Republican party did retake the House. They almost retook the Senate.

I don't trust the average American voter, whose brain has turned to mush thanks to mass media and social media brainwashing. 20-25 years ago the shit that the GOP's doing now would have resulted in Democrats ultra-majorities.
