Teaching English

I just want people who are thinking about traveling overseas to teach English to be prepared.

The amount of English speakers that are going to another country that doesn't speak English and the person not already able to communicate in their native language is probably so miniscule I doubt even one of them would even see your post, let alone need to be educated on that fact.

Anyway, on the subject of speaking English. Here is something related to it that will actually be helpful to people

The amount of English speakers that are going to another country that doesn't speak English and the person not already able to communicate in their native language is probably so miniscule ...

Not really. You're relying on your imagination.

I believe you need to know the language of the student to teach English to him or her. For example, you cannot teach English to a Spanish-speaking student with just English, whether the student is a child or adult. If you want to teach English in another country, you need to know the language of the country you want to teach and live in.

That entire statement is incorrect.
