They don't.You really are out of touch with realityEXACTLYMake an argument why CA with over 12% and Wyoming has O.17% both have US Senators is fair?
The reason why was to get the Constitution ratified. The concern from the smaller populated states was that the highly populated ones would dominate and subjugate them.
The small states fought against having a popular vote
Gee, three centuries ago this was an issue, today it is not. No large state has any reason nor any legal right to "subjugate" small states. The fact is that the Senators in small states have the power to deny large states to protect their citizens from murderers who use guns to kill their citizens.
You really are out of touch with reality
pid argument which is archaic in the 21st Century is a federal government will send troops into a state and takeover the civil government. In fact the other opposite occurred on Jan 5th last, when violent insurrectionists' invaded the Capitol Building.
The other argument is also absurd, that being that the 2nd Amendment is sacrosanct and that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed". The 2nd is not immune from criticism or the rules of law, and no mention within the 2nd protects possession or ownership of guns, in fact no specific statement suggests gun are different from arms*** which may be regulated by law, or not be owned, possessed or in the custody or control of all citizens.

Why do states like California try to influence elections in other states?
AND TRY GUN CONTROL
