Target is dropping prices ahead of the holidays; its Thanksgiving meal at its lowest price

LMAO!!!

They are doing this because everyone is hurting from the tRump-flation.

It's a nice gesture, but only for one meal.

Grocery prices overall are still up over 3% year over year.

It's not for just one meal. Catch up.

Target is dropping prices ahead of the holidays... announcing reduced costs on 3,000 food, beverage, and essential items starting this month.

After being a regular customer through the 90s, Target has become the retailer of last resort for us. Go woke go broke.
They're very conveniently located for us and our pharmacy is in the Target store. We've gotten some really good deals there the last few months. So they're back in my good graces, as long as they don't put up a poster of a boy wearing a girl's bikini or something ...

Is it because SNAP benefits have not been fully funded and therefore there is less money available to be spent on T-giving foods?
It isn't unusual for retailers to lower their prices before Thanksgiving. I used to wait until the last minute to buy turkeys trying to get the lowest price without having to spend a required amount to get the reduced price. The best I ever got was 29 cents a pound, but over the past seven or eight years the range has been 59-80 cents for house brands and just under a dollar for a name brand like Butterball. LOL, easily amused.

I got disgusted with them and their lack of respect for their employees and their families. All the discount retailers do it, but I was personally effected by their requirement for their employees to report to work at 6 pm on Thanksgiving. These big box stores seem to have gotten push back on these policies and they aren't quite as bad in recent years but they need to be more respectful to their employees and make Thanksgiving and Christmas a time for family.

It varies by state. Some states they only got half or something. Others got their regular amount, but it was late. Some got it on time with no hitch.

Genius!

Target lowered prices due to inflation.

But not the 9% hyper inflation we had under Joe Biden, but the normal 2 - 3% inflation we have under Donald Trump.

They have to pay more for their goods, but out of altruism, they sell it for less?

You should work carnivals, with a mind like that!
