Target is dropping prices ahead of the holidays; its Thanksgiving meal at its lowest price

Look, capitalism as we once knew it has been perverted and usurped. As such, there is a great deal of exploitation going on. To get prices down will require a mammoth effort and creative thinking since the BBB ensured immense supply of money which companies are leveraging and the poor get hurt.

If Trump wants to get prices down and win the hearts of citizens he is going to have to work on behalf of citizens.

First, get rid of these max pay loans and credit cards. 100% Interest and what not is disgusting and it angers people to be exploited and kept in a loop of poverty. Restrict credit cards to a maximum of +15% above federal rate.

Second, call out three particular products or large scale companies per week. Promote a simple federal website that can remain going forward of companies overcharging for products excessively. You can be sure that if Walmart sees their product called out and risk hurting their bottom line that they will accept 12-15% ROI on a product instead of 20-30%.

I will also make a federal site dedicated to spotlighting "Made in America" products and companies who give back to citizens with lower returns on some products. Do it on a weekly basis and have companies compete for the eyeballs of citizens.

Finally, eliminate corporate handouts. What an insult to taxpayers and capitalists. Make them work to build the better mousetrap and only give help to smaller companies, encourage competition.

Do you not understand why they are doing this?
You leftist cultists keep telling me the grocery stores are unaffordable because of trump however I shop Costco WinCo and the Safeway app and find food to be quite reasonable. Gas prices have come down as well. Looks like all you have is Epstein now and that's getting pretty washed out. You're going to have to search farther up your butt to find a new calamity to megaphone. Poor you LOL

Your SNAP not stretching as far as it used to?

Or have Ho-Ho's and Kool-Aide not felt the effects of Bidenflation?
Those SNAP recipients didn't think about that when they were cheering the doubling of minimum wage. LOL, I wonder how many of those inflated-minimum wage earners are no longer eligible for any of those SNAP/WIC/Welfare payments. Careful what you wish for.

$7 hamburger meat. MAGA!

As they settle for ground mystery meat and dream about that $17.99/lb Ribeye they can no longer afford.

I find it interesting that whenever these converstations come up that people automatically set the bar for the standard of living at the bottom of the barrel.

Went to Wally World last week and picked up a 16lb. turkey at 0.84/lb. Not bad...
Yeah, they've had those price for about a month---must be an over abundance of turkeys this year. I had to laugh--the Butterball was selling for 97 cents and THE SAME BIRD was selling at Safeway for $2 more.

Many believe that rising beef prices are influenced by a combination of factors, including inflation and supply chain issues exacerbated by government policies. The Biden administration has faced criticism for its fiscal policies, which some argue have contributed to increased costs in the meat industry.
Additionally, the Biden administration's approach to imports, affects domestic beef prices. Critics argue that relying on imports can undermine local producers.

It definitely undermines local producers and over time, as the CCP have attempted to do; foreign producers will hold a monopoly or near monopoly as they operate to eliminate competition through government funding and subsidies. Therefore, long term the jobs are external to the purchasing market until eventually you are beholden to that foreign producer and whatever price they demand without the employment necessary to support consumption.

While it would be nice if prices would go down but in the real world that will not happen. The best we can hope for is lower inflation and maybe increases in payroll

The only thing that will slow inflation is making the production and marketing cheaper. The war on fossil fuels increased production costs in feeds, fertilizers and fuel; delivery costs in fuel, and then democrat's idea to double minimum wages. Getting fuel prices down would be the single best thing they could do to alleviate all of those problems. Wages cannot rise again for a long time while the rest of it stabilizes.
