Poll shows Democrats have the edge ahead of midterm elections for Congress

I should have known better then to ask you that, considering you're a low I.Q. moron.

You weren't expecting an answer in the first place, were just being a pathetic asshat, and you are still posting useless garbage.
Seems to be your forte.

..and....that 49% of those surveyed believe country is worse off than a year ago.
I believe that our country has become dark and scary for many, with medical debt mounting as the poorer half of our citizens get poorer.
Food prices aren't getting any lower..gas is a bit better---but still high.

So...does this translate into a Blue wave? Will Trump even let a Blue wave happen?

I hope it does..the potential for hours and hours of amusement is there...if Congress actually and seriously attempted to curb the President.

Democrats hold a slight advantage heading into the midterm elections in a new poll from The New York Times and Siena University.

The poll found that 48% of registered voters would support a Democratic candidate if the midterm elections were held today, compared to just 43% for a Republican candidate. The poll also showed skepticism toward President Donald Trump's policies, with 47% of registered voters saying they "strongly disapprove" of how he is handling his job as president.

The poll surveyed 1,625 registered voters nationwide from Jan. 12 to 17 and advertised a margin of error of 2.8%.
A 51% majority of Americans also say that Trump's policies have made their lives less affordable.
Trump's approval ratings on the economy are, on average, slightly lower than his overall approval ratings.
The president's approval rating stands at 45% in the latest Wall Street Journal poll, at 41% in Reuters/Ipsos, and an average of all the most recent national polls compiled by Real Clear Politics puts Trump's approval at 42%, with 55% giving him a thumbs down on the job he's doing.
Yay! Team Blue! Yay! Team Red!
Go Team!!!!!

Dems are "theoretically" up by 4 seats unless SCOTUS tosses out the VRA. Roberts said the best way to end racial discrimination is to end racial discrimination, so I expect the VRA to end, GOP +19 seats.

Polls have been consistently wrong

Ok, good question. Let's look at it seriously.

1. Oh, so we can shit can the idea of being serious. DROP THE SHIT TALK, LEFTARD.

..

So...does this translate into a Blue wave? Will Trump even let a Blue wave happen?

...

2. The economic numbers have been fantastic. If that translates to poor polls numbers, we have to ask why. Good results should lead to LEARNING. We should do MORE of what gives good results, not give power to those that want to stop it.

Connecticut's districts have barely changed since 1990 when they lost their sixth House seat. The boundaries have largely stayed the same since and up until 2007, three of those five seats were Republican occupied. In fact, it was Republicans who drew up the map. The people simply lost faith in the party.

As for Massachusetts, the Republicans are spread throughout the state and it would pretty difficult to draw a Trump leaning district. Northeast Massachusetts (Essex County) used to be very competitive for Republicans and had a Republican Rep in the 90s. Western Massachusetts had a Republican Representative for 30 years (Silvio Conte), but after he died a Democrat won the seat and it's been Dem ever sense. Again, the shape of those districts have barely changed, it's the people who changed their preference of representation.

Excuses Excuses.

That's the interesting thing....what form the denial would take. I imagine the full court press in the courtroom.
Martial law? Rule election void by decree?
Trump knows that if the Dems take control of Congress..he's toast.

It'll be no different than his previous term when dems manufactured garbage and impeachments. They're worthless so it really changes nothing.

Generic Congressional polls mean nothing. Congress isn't even elected that way. They are elected by the people in their districts.

If Trump continues on the path he's on, and he will, it's going to be a bloodbath!

You mean if the MSM continues on their path and gullible American people continue to buy their partisan rhetoric. That's certainly possible.

Bad news for us conservatives. I am concerned.

You know what would be good news? To hear Trump is bringing back the draft. And to see the look on your face when you realize you voted for it. So you want Trump to be a King till the 2028 elections? Untouchable? No checks and balances?

Republicans used to argue our government runs best when one party is in the White House and the other party controls congress. What happened to that theory?

The military has a waiting list dumbo. No one is talking about a draft.

Congress and the courts are the checks and balances.

Well that's how you painted us and it sure did work but you lied. You lied about us and yourselves. Keep defending this and thinking the American people want this. But I know you. Even if Trump took over and said MAGA was the new American government, end of story, you'd go along.

Look how trump tells Venezuela and Iran who their leaders can be. Got to be people he likes. So the midterms. I guess only people he likes will win. This election will be rigged.

And just like Putin supporters, you'll go along. You'll say to hell with the constitution and all that shit. Right? Freakn notsees.

American voters know which party promotes their values. Deal with the results.
There is no escaping the democrat's open borders, sanctuary cities and states, and protecting criminals.

Iran picked their leader. Trump kept the VZ VP. States run elections, they are only rigged if mail-in ballots are allowed.

Nazis? Jew haters. Like NYC democrats voting for Mamdani? Socialist? Communist? UnAmerican.
