There's your problem right there. These idiots were buying whatever the hell retailers charge for the goods and services when they should be mindful instead of blowing money on impulse. Why would anyone pay $14 for a burrito at Chipotle, $7 for a drink at Starbucks, or $5 for a bag of 8 oz. chips, is beyond me. Retailers see no reason to lower the price as long as these non savvy shoppers continue to pay sticker price.
