Take a Knee

I've been watching the news closely....Just recently protestors have started taking a knee as part of their protest, presumably attempting to imitate the 'protest of Colin Kaepernick who took a knee during National Anthems.

Are they supporting Floyd...or what was done to Floyd?

And Police officers have begun to take a knee in solidarity with the protestors....Have the Police thought this all the way through?

Isn't the police 'taking a knee' after this is how a policeman killed Floyd a little INSULTING if you really think about it?

.

Did these protestors think this all the way through?

No it's not insulting, even if you wish it was.

Good. Looters, savages, rioters, pillagers, thieves aren't peaceful protesters.
Seeing quite a bit of this. That is, the use of dehumanizing language to describe the protesters. Savages is a particular favorite.

Because what better justifies, for Trumpletards, the use of deadly force by police than dealing with someone who is thought of as a savage............and not Chris the pizza delivery guy from Baker St. in St. Louis?
Are you saying that there is NO behavior that you consider uncivilized? There is NO line? Is this some kind of radical PC?

Idiot Trump supporters are using that word the same way they use the word communist, to describe anything they don't particularly like.
Anything? Or just crazed mobs destroying cities? Where would you apply that word?

We don't always agree, but I can usually expect you to be honest. Are you saying you haven't seen that word used often in much the same way that they use communist/socialist as a universal term of dislike?
During this national crisis where major cities are being burned to the ground, private property is being stolen or destroyed, and people are being terrorized on American soil? Don't be disingenuous.

You just don't get it, do you? This whole knee-to-neck submission hold should be illegal, and yet it looks like a widely used tactic.
How many times have you seen that technique employed?

In your estimation, what percentage of those times did the event occur in jackass Democrat-controlled cities?

You misspelled ruin, jackass.

What does looting have to do with protesting? Black people are killed by police at a higher rate than white people, however, there are more black people arrested for violent crimes. I wonder the percentage of those resisting arrest? It stands to reason that if a guy(black or white) is being arrested for tax evasion, he is less likely to resist than if he is being arrested for armed robbery. It also stands to reason that if a person resist arrest, they have a much higher chance of getting hurt.
What happened in this case was clearly unjustified. The officer should be and will be convicted. There is, however, no evidence that this was racially motivated, just that this was a bad cop. There is no excuse for people looting and burning things down. That is idiotic and being perpetrated by left-wing thugs. These are the folks the Democrats want to let out of prison and give the right to vote. No working, intelligent, productive person in this country should vote for these morons because their policies continue to produce more and more of folks with this type of attitude.

Did I SAY I wished it was? Let go of the anger, breathe, and take it down a notch. Evidently all this hate is getting to you....

You're defending what the terrorists are doing to our cities?

At least the other cop pulled the ass hole's knee off of the guy's neck. Too bad the other cops didn't do that for Floyd.
Yeah lets burn down LA and NY for something that happened in Minny. Makes a ton of sense.

The same things have happened in New York and Los Angeles. I guess you're forgetting Eric Garner in New York, who also died saying "I can't breathe".

Or this from Los Angeles:

Or Breanna Taylor getting shot in her bed as police broke down her door on a "no knock" warrant for someone else, in Nashville:

How can you live and work in Boston and not know this?

I do know this but they are protesting now with Floyd signs. So they aren't protesting over prior events. You keep questioning where I live. Interesting. Come on down here and see for yourself. I guaranty you 99% of these terrorists don't know or recall those incidents.

There are some anarchists in the crowd. The vast majority are law abiding protesters

Some?!?!?! They burned down 20 businesses in Minny. How many police cars? Just as the officers who didn't stop Chauvin are equally guilty so are the "protesters" who don't stop the terrorists.

The protests aren't the result of one incident. This one is just the most recent.

Ill say it a million times. These people burning down buildings, rioting, looting, pillaging, stealing are savages. You tried to twist my words but you failed. Sounds like you're sympathetic and support all of this violence. Im not surprised.
You can say it a billion times if it makes you feel better about Floyd's murder. It doesn't make it so.

I am sympathetic to the anger from hundreds of years of oppression, mistreatment, discrimination, and racism that people like yourself have caused.

And I understand the lack of willingness to accept the blame for hundreds of years of oppression, mistreatment, discrimination, and racism is what causes you to call the protesters "savages."
