It will turn out how people want it to turn out.

The issue is that we now have so many people who are connected, financially (and I am not just talking people on SS...big business is to) to the Federal Government that we can't get a good election to take place.

If anyone finds the last year to be uplifting or refreshing, I'd like you to share the name of the pusher who is selling some pretty good weed.

I don't smoke it ....but I am tempted to start.

The sick thing is that the 2016 race will start on or around Nov 10th 2012.

I think this Libya thing is going to be Obamas downfall. If Obama would have come out on September 12, 2012 and said, "Yesterday, our Embassy in Benghazi, Lybia was attacked by terrorist. Four Americans were murdered including our ambassador to that country. We screwed up and were too slow to react and because of that, four Americans are dead. I take full responsibility and I promise you, this will never happen again. We will find those responsible and they will be brought to justice." He wouldn't be falling in the polls and he would be re-elected.

Of course, hard core Republicans would still be calling for his head, but they only account for maybe 25% of those voting. Obama would win this election in a landslide if he would of just told the truth.

I'm not going to say, I doubt this election will follow any previous model, I think some traditionally dem states will flip big time, and the polls won't catch it. Only problem the storm my screw everythng up that has been developing so far. Right now there are too many variables. How's that for non-commitment.

Ohio is tied. At least on TV.
Penn. and Ohio are looking at prosperity but are worried Obama will EPA that away. They are both also pro coal. And none of that looks good for the President.
Libya/cover up is going to cost Obama but Sandy may help him in N.H.

Obama has a better chance in Pa, than Ohio. He has hurt the coal industry, the gas industry and the farm industry in Ohio. And only the UAW workers are happy with Obama. All of the non union auto worker pensions were sacrificed in favor of union pensions. And we'd like to keep our guns.
So we'll see. This may not be as close as predicted.

There is a difference between, "we screwed up" and, "I took a nap and then partied in Vegas."
