The irony is that the one Democrat in Congress from TN is from Memphis. He was likely to lose this fall without redistricting because the Republican running against him is a black female.

I am very concerned because TN redistricted part of my county into the same district as Memphis. I live right near where drew the boundary. We have a lot more in common with Nashville as it is 45 miles away.

But they will be fewer in numbrr they will also be higher quality than the average DEI loser the dems have there now

Blacks are 13% of the population. They are 12% of the members of Congress.

Fewer would be a bad thing.

Its my understanding that Memphis is a cultural and political lost cause

I used to live in Tx30 which was represented for many years before her death by Eddie Bernice Johnson

Someone who was easily one of the lowest IQ representatives in congress
