Zone1 Supreme Court issues emergency order to block full SNAP food aid payments

No, the government not feeding people in this instance is not the problem I'm complaining about. It's the lack of foresight on the part of the government that allowed people to be deprived of benefits they need to feed themselves and their families.

The cruel part though is once they understood this to the be the problem, they compounded it by taking an action that they knew would further delay them being fed for an even a longer period of time. In this case fighting a court order to fund the program so that the SNAP beneficiaries can get their benefits and put food on the table.

They're asking the Supreme Court of the United States to rule that they don't have to fund all of the benefits that the people are entitled to for even this month. Who knows what's going to happen next month.
Unfortunately, mother nature entitles us to nothing. Stupid humans created this mess where we have an element of society that feels they're "entitled" to free stuff/benefits.

So let's say that the government shutdown drags on until January 2026 or longer and everyone who selected a ACA plan from the marketplace during the current open enrollment period happening now, at a cost that they believe they could afford, suddenly finds that their monthly premium shoots up by several hundred or even a thousand dollars a month.

What do you believe will happen at that point?
The subsidies right now are calculated not on the expanded ones, so what they see today is what they are getting unless congress does agree to extend another year.

They haven't refused to approve it, they simply want it to include an extension of the expanded ACA subsidies or better yet, make them permanent. They had no problem making the tax breaks for the billionaires permanent, why are you letting them off of the hook for refusing to help the American people who are most in need.
So why did THEY put an expiration date on it? And, having done so, why should we recognize their efforts to change that expiration date, now that they are in the minority in Congress?

Breaks for the billionaires generated from cuts in healthcare and food benefits for low-income Americans. That seems equitable to you?
Nonsense.

Ask Schumer.

I don't know anyone by that name, but SCOTUS is required to respond one way or another lest they be accused of not caring about the American people's plight.

You know who I'm referring to. :laughing0301:

Obamacare is a shitty law. It needs to be rewritten not propped up by more and more cash we don't have.

And it gives subsidies to rich people and people who are in America illegally. We also have too many able bodied people using it who should be working.

Where us workers are willing and able to pay for affordable health insurance , for preventative care , etc . , rather than being subject to first come first served urgent care , and limiting risk of significant debt or bankruptcy , such individuals should not be perceived as free loaders .

Is HSA health savings account a shitty law , as pretax FSA flexible spending account is still available though far less functional with a guess for use it or lose it ?

Is maintaining dependents on health insurance until 26 , to be covered during college , or during initial lower wages employment , shitty law ?

The MLR did not control premiums , cost , or profits and there is not an intent to rewrite better law that would perhaps set reasonable schedules for treatments by health care providers and insurance companies , which is especially true of those who by default contest against governance through price controls , though private corporations negotiate such price controls through open bidding , by which an individual citizen is incapable .

. Affordable Care Act Medical Loss Ratio Does Not Limit Premiums Or Profits .

And it gives subsidies to rich people and people who are in America illegally.
SNAP cuts are to medicaid , rather than to medicare , and which test is available to determine a virtuous and efficient distribution of social subsistence benefits , especially when awarding more benefits for providing more dependents ?

The subsidized health care cost is charged on a sliding scale and positive liberties should be available to us citizens , even wealthy who would perhaps be in need of insurance and would be paying normative premiums .

The subsidized health care cost should not be available to illegal migrants and near 600,000 in DACA are included in the contention - 4 things you should know about changes to DACA .

An illegal migrant has access to equal protections through urgent care and by law must be treated , while recent public policy has been that many illegal migrants have acquire positive liberties of social subsistence through child baring , where the child is illegitimately bequeathed us citizenship that included 18 years of social subsistence based on income of child custodian , and exclusion of such petitions are included in the contention , as such individuals are subject to deportation .

We also have too many able bodied people using it who should be working.
Do free market privateers have a capacity to employ every able bodied individual with a living wage and accommodations to transition , and if not , then what are responsibilities to , for , from and of the excess ?

. Are Us States Prohibited From Complying With Us 1st Amendment By Us 10th Amendment ? .
