Not so easy for many people working zero hours is all they can get, do you think they would work zero hours if they didn't have to, every job i did in my life from being an apprentice i signed a contract to work so many hours a week and that is what i was paid for, sometimes work was slack but i still got paid, other times we were run off our feet, no one should be on 24hours call out unless they are in a job where they need to be.

This is great stuff. The drivers want better pay and better conditions and are making themselves unavailable between 4 an 10 tis evening.
Its technically not a strike because they are not guarenteed any work due to the nature of their contracts .
It isnt safe for someone to be driving a taxi for 70 hours a week. Uber are profiting from a slave economy. They have a place but not at the expense of safety and human dignity.

I read a story (I'll try to get it for you) of a federal worker who worked helping vets, some even Vietnam vets but mostly Iraq etc., more recent vets who struggle with amputations, lost eyesight and so on.

She was laid off last week and has a baby coming and her husband is about to be laid off too (he worked for a non-profit associated with Medicaid support).

These are hard working fellow Americans just trying to get by, yet in your vile fascist world deserve nothing but contempt such is the depravity of your extremist views.
