Stupidest thing you've done in a vehicle?

On a fishing trip to the Salton Sea (S. Cal.) . My brother-in-law and I got drunk, etc. popped the sun roof on my van off, set the cruise control at about 65 mph and I drove across the desert using my feet for some 40 miles. Radio blaring, beer in our hands, it was a great time..

drove the valiant about 20 miles on a hilly road with a cliff on one side at night with zero brakes...none ..just using the gears so I could get it home...pure maddness

It was fun the first few times.... then some gawddamned tree jumped out in front of me.

I was drunk.

But that is not excuse, as that is usually how I drive to, and from, work.
