Students are being trained by union teachers to say ‘F--- ICE.’

No, it wasn't failed by my teachers, because I was not entitled to do whatever I wanted to just to get grade in a class.
I did fine, better in college than grade school, after the Service and learning a little discipline.
You don't even understand what I am saying. Your teachers should have allowed you to use whatever method as long as mathematically sound. Someone taught them to do that.

No, you don't understand what I am saying, because I don't work in a classroom, and I need employees that can follow instructions without me having to explain to them why "their way" won't meet the requirements.

You are just not making sense. If they get the right answer, why do you care how they obtained it if it is mathematically sound, or are we not talking math anymore?

Because they hate "Common Core"
They can't explain WHY.

I'll let you argue with the FDA about how "your way" might be better and we'll see how that turns out for you. :auiqs.jpg:
You are teaching children more than mathematics in math class.

What exactly am I teaching besides math? I also was a social studies teacher, but that was not part of my math curriculum. I simply don't know what you mean.

Teachers are teaching the kids that it is okay to be creative, and they don't have to follow a strict set of requirements as long as they get the right answer.

I told you that what I needed to learn was what was required to pass the class, because it is important to learn that there are limits to someone being able to be creative when requirements are involved.

I mentioned the FDA, because methods, instructions, procedures, and specifications must all be approved, must meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards and that does not mean that people can do things whatever way is the easiest for them.

You also don't know how much time I waste, entertaining every little thing a younger employees can think of whenever they are given simple instructions, because they actually think they need to change everything to work better for them.

When I mentioned that mathematics is not all children learn in math class, that is because children learn from everything you do and every idea you teach them.

Thank you! Now it makes sense.

Math is so rich, you should be able to fill an hour a day with math.

Personally I spend about two hours a day on it. Yesterday I started doing problems using the Hida calculus, for TIME SERIES, which is something every kid should understand. Mean, variance, higher moments and correlations for the smart kids.

This is the day and age of quantum computing, right? Have to keep up. The Hida calculus uses a sample space of test functions that form an infinite dimensional Hilbert space, in the case of multiple time series it's formally analogous to a Fock space in quantum mechanics.

You can illustrate this with just a series of coin flips. The kids need to see the movie, they don't need the social justice indoctrination.
