Students are being trained by union teachers to say ‘F--- ICE.’

I read your post and understood it.
It is true that children are different and some have disadvantages.

You want to talk to me about mainstreaming children into classes where they cannot do the classwork?
You want to discuss policies that are not productive in the classroom?

You've been a teacher, so share something worthwhile.
I haven't been a teacher, but I have audited schools against the standards, have observed testing to ensure it meets the state's requirements.

I know schools and school districts are different.
I know that teachers take a lot of heat from parents and community members that they don't always deserve.
Didn't happen in my schools.

Something worthwhile? Stop believing the bullshit you read and hear about occurring in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Chicago, and California is indicative of anything that is happening in schools out her in flyover country unless they are in blue cities in red states. That would go a long way in understanding education in America for most people.

These so called 'teachers' are nothing more than taxpayer moochers. Did you know that some taxpayer vampire sucked school districts have 1 higher paid non-teaching 'administrator' for every 2 teachers? Because they got sick of actually working for a living and teaching kids. They just want their taxpayer funded paycheck, pension and benefits.

List school districts you found this to be true. My high school had 3200 students, 105 teachers, 4 counselors, and 8 administrators. When I became an assistant principal, my workday went to sometimes 16 hours a day at the school if I had a football game on Friday night. The custodians said they were going to put a bed in my office so I could stay the night. My usual day was about the same as I had as a teacher, but I lost 20 pounds walking. As an AP, I was the first one in the door in the morning as I turned the alarm system off.

We have uber wealthy business people making billions so im not going to concern myself with criticizing teachers making a pittance of 60 grand plus a tiny pension. (60 grand if theyve been able to stay for 20 years that is). Get real.

It does happen here, and in flyover country, but it could also have something to do with the Department of Justice still being involved. They also still progress children through grades when they have not successfully completed the classwork or met the standards. I am not going to talk about what you don't want to talk about though.

However, I like reading things here, because this is about the only place I get a chance to speak with teachers that have nothing critical to say about the policies in the classrooms where they work. Shit, about a third of my friends are teachers, and never shut up about the crap in schools, while the schools here are awesome. Of course, I live far enough out of the city and in the sticks that most women that work around here are teachers, nurses, or business owners.

So, you admit being clueless and worthless. Thank you!

That's not what I said at all, but it is what you require, so be it.
You'll try to argue with whatever I post and are not interested in discussing anything.

I am not here to beat up on teachers or schools.

I find it hard to believe that students didn't already know how to say that.

Great News
Opinion from a right winger with ZERO teaching history and zero time in the actual classroom.

You actually know nothing, just like McMahon who called AI ….. A1
She’s the joke.

Today’s students still excel in Calculus, Honors AP courses, Shop Classes…etc

You just refuse to acknowledge these simple facts.
The thing that concerns me is our global math scores are falling and we are supposed to be leaders in technology, something is going to give. Throwing money at the problem will not fix it either. We need to concentrate more on hard education, reading, math, sciences and less on social issues. Parents need to get involved, better teachers, we have many really good teachers in this country however unions seem to protect bad ones and they unfortunately get the publicity.

We have strengths, but we have weaknesses like in math.

Teachers and their taxpayer mooching unions can go to hell.

So because teachers make 65k it’s okay for them to train their students to say **** ICE? Seems stupid to me but I am sure one of your great teachers taught you that logic.

Those are few and far between. Most all teachers just teach. We just gave our teachers a 7 percent raise here in our rural town. You would be proud of that.

Where do you have any evidence that teachers are not fired after due process? That's an old wife's tale that is really untrue, but everyone believes in the myth. The problem occurs when the administrator's **** up the handling of cases, resulting in a lack of due process and dismissal of charges. I was an assistant principal for two years and I successfully fired 2 teachers out of the only 16 I had under my supervision. I think that was a pretty good success rate. Unions can't save people who break the rules and you catch them red-handed.

I can count the number of my teacher friends who ever made 65 K on one hand. I never made more than 55K and I was living 110 miles from home and rented a place to live during the week.

You can count a lot more if you had friends outside of Kentucky.
Teacher in many States make over 100K.
These teachers are paid well.
I'm not complaining.
