No evidence has been found behind the recent claim originating in Iran's main propaganda outlet that UK/US were trying to deliver weapons to ISIL in two planes that were shot down by the Iraqi Army, according to fact-checking website emergent.info. Link.
Excerpt:
"Iran's state-run news agency, FARS, is the source of this report. Its story from Feb. 23 said that the accusation was made by Iraqi politician Hakim Al-Zamili and attributed his comments to a "report of the Arabic-language information center of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq." (The Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq is a political party.) There is no record of that, and the story went on to make the ludicrous claim that "US-led coalition planes ... airdrop weapons and supplies for ISIL in terrorist-held areas."

The story was spread by Breitbart, a guy in USmessageboard.com, and other cheap, unreliable sources of information who don't check facts before putting things on the Internet..
