The evidence will show who did it, if either.... Or if both, coming at it by different angles.

My guess is Bannon needed a pardon for his felony charges, Trump had left him out of his pardon bonanza of friends, and friends of friends, late 2020.

Perhaps it was a quid pro quo of sorts? IF Bannon helped plan or execute some of the 1/6 commotion, maybe he could gain favor with Trump, and get him to pardon him for his crimes?

Trump did so at the very last minute, pardoned Bannon, on January 19th...a day or two, before leaving.
