If someone is in this country illegally then they don’t need any other reason to deport them.
That’s what it means to be here “illegally”.

Well, it seems that if you ignore due process, then legal Americans can be deported, and then they can claim (which they have already done) that they don't have the authority to bring them back.

Actually the policy under Obama was to not deport anyone.
When illegals were caught, they were offered a better deal to leave on their own.
That way no one with valid reasons to be here was abused.

The law actually says that Mexicans are natives so are supposed to have free movement anywhere in the Americas.
The law also protects those with citizens spouses or children.
The reality is that most US citizens actually are descendants of European invaders who murdered natives, and should not be allowed to be here at all.
