also, the polls for the last election were not all that accurate - were they?

I have believed for years that polls were used to help shape the narrative instead of to give accurate data

this last election gave credence to that opinion; democrats always seem to be over represented in most of the polls (Rasmussen being a notable exception)

plus, many people DO give answers that they think the pollster wants to hear - in today's environment where conservatives are unfairly branded a s"racist" (and other things) - many people are not truthful when polled

if the economy stays like this; Trump coasts to a 2nd term; especially if the left nominates a radical

Tell Jed, that he needs to go a little farther back than March to understand job loss in the steel market. 700,000 of our jobs went to Mexico alone. How many went to China, know it all?

What company in their right mind is going to invest 1/2 a Billion dollars in a factory STRICTLY on the basis of a tariff that could go away tomorrow? And if it does - they are stuck with a worthless plant?

The answer...not one.

This company is either doing it because of the tax cuts or they decided to do this LONG before Trump announced the tariffs. So they decided to get on Trump's good side and make this bogus announcement.

If you honestly think they did this STRICTLY/mostly because of the tariffs - then you have no idea whatsoever how a business operates.
