Look if trump really wanted peace he'd be working with the other NATO members to define a new strategy toward Russia, one not based on continuing encroachment by NATO.

By doing that we'd see all military aid to Ukraine wind down and the risk of a war between Russia and NATO would disappear. Understand that the United States has a duty to defend it's NATO allies if they are attacked.

If NATO then acted collectively toward that goal they could end the war and reach a settlement that Russia would accept.

But trump has never been a team player, that's why he hates NATO (not because of costs) he cannot function as a team member but must be a bully, the loudest mouth in the room.
