Sriracha sauce shortage causes prices to spike upward of $70 a bottle

Interesting as mustard gas was the bomb during WW1.
You do know that the weapon known as mustard gas is not made from, or has anything to do with mustard, right?

Well, I learned something new just now. Is it called that because of its yellow color?

In the past 2 days I have been to three grocery stores and two Walmarts.
All I can say is;
Anyone willing to pay 70 dollars for the big bottle of the original siracha sauce, please contact me. I'll sell it to for 35, and pay USPS priority mail shipping.
Half price, what a deal.
Fyi- all those five stores were fully stocked at the normal(2023) retail price.

And there's plenty of milk in my little country store at $4/gallon. No shortage of eggs either.

But milk and eggs aren't the topic of this thread, siracha sauce is
.

Partially so. This thread is also about phony "shortages".

I went through "shortages" back when I still used Amazon. There was once a total shortage of canning jars in my small town and, sure enough, there they were on Amazon for about four times the normal price. Went through the same thing with polymer clay, none to be found but plenty on Amazon.
