listen they can. remove the toxins ...okay here is what you do if your not going to the hospital....outline the bite....the outer circle the redness....and date it with date/time....yep just draw it in ink on your arm....do the same thing every few hours....so you can see if the redness is growing or shrinking ...dont ignore it...esp if it starts turning dark colors

Dhara, don't mess with this. The ER will know how to treat a brown recluse bite. This is serious.

The recluse is rarer in California in the north but can exist there. If it is a yellow sac spider bite, you may be in worse danger.

Cytotoxin is the problem, that's the venom.

We are not doctors. The ER will know what to do.

Ok. My next step is calling the ER in Redding.

Sounds like a brown recluse bite, the black center is where the flesh will start necrotizing (aka dying) if you don't get it treated. Please get to the ER asap.
