Joel Chandler wrote those stories. As A child I lived right down the street from The Chandler House in West Atlanta, GA.
Years later, I took my grandkids to hear a young black woman at story time tell his stories.

small world,the song of rods that is in MY head this morning is this one,incredible what a small world it is huh? I plan on seeing rwhen he tours next year.

In my head this morning and as a teen in the 70s the local radio station played it every morning at 7:00 AM. You could set your watch by it.

as i said,man small world:yes_text12:. you should do what i am going to do next season.plan to see rod when he tours unless you are poor and cannot afford it,otherwise you should see him as i am going to.
