The question for Democrats is whether there is anything that will wake them up to their obligation to extend a powerful hand to ordinary Americans and help them take the government, including the Supreme Court, back from the big banks, the giant corporations and the myriad other predatory interests that put the value of a dollar high above the value of human beings.

Yawn.

Let's have Obama disclose who backed his campaign

The supreme court said you can't stifle opinions you don't agree with. They said full disclosure is an important part of the process.

You can require politicians to disclose who is pulling their strings. Something I feel the 0bamabots fear more than equal time.

If Marth Cokely had been obliged to put "This politican received 27% of her funding from the SEIU and the following pharm cos." she would have lost even worse.

You do know this information is available, right? It always has been.

I dispute there is or ever was such a thing as am "ordinary American". Democrats have no monopoly on returning power to citizens. In fact, no party can do so, but it is through the citizens themselves to shift power back to its true source, the people.

What, you gotta be kidding, if O'Reilly or Hannity doesn't tell them where, and doesn't show them how, and doesn't specifically tell them, " DO IT," they would never actually search out the information on their own!

If they did that they would all be joining the Republican Party.
Democrats are the party of unions and bureaucrats. They are the party of big dinosaur businesses like autos. They are the party of Wall St. The party of the welfare dependent.

Republicans are the party of small business, of mom n pop, of working Americans who aren't looked after by powerful unions or otherwise protected in their jobs.

Yes, let's do. Expose all the campaigns.

I agree 100%!

Post all contributors to a website

Why? To what purpose? So you can intimidate and threaten....hey wait! Great idea.

Let us see who the BIG Banks and multinational corporations back in the next few races. The pay off for the GOP court decisions will be interesting.

Oh yeah, GOP conservatives will be fighting state laws that regulate election contributions too.

Cool site...you can search by state and campaign, etc.

Search Campaign Finance Summary Data

wasting your time. many of the moonbats and wingnuts only go to youtube and USMB. They have no clue that the internet and other resources already list contributers and donations.

CrusaderFrank and a few others are as clueless as they come.

What a crock of shiit. Mom and Pop are bankrupt and junior has no future. The GOP Court decided in favor of more of the same for the folks who brought us financial collapse.

and you must be as old as shit too...because it was ages ago that unions were actually powerful.

This just might be the stupidest post of the fucking year....and we're only in January. :cuckoo:

No, the stupidest post of the year is the one quoted above. You are a complete moonbat. Your opinions aren't grounded in fact. Hell, they aren't even grounded in sanity. Your post isn't responsive to what I wrote. It is a word salad. Meds must not be working tonight.
