Some Reid staffers exempt from Obamacare

Wait a minute, if ObamaCare is better and more affordable why would he feel the need to exempt his staff?

They're not exempt from Obamacare. Nice twist.

They're not being forced to buy from the exchanges like others are (incorrectly) being forced to.

But then again, you're too partisan to understand what "exempt" from Obamacare even means.

Continue the hackery.

Not true. Anyone not insured is forced to pay a penalty/tax or buy a product. Continue on with your hackery. You have it down to an art.

the neat thing about this law

is that the staffers will be subsidized

at the tax payers expense

good stuff all of it

--LOL

The staffers follow the law.

Let's move along.

No, they're not, Jake. They're exempt from the law

Some animals are more equal than others

They are subject to the same law as all of us. The government accounting office says that their subsidies are in accordance with the law.

You don't like that, tuff.
You're not only a slimy little fuck, you're also a filthy, two faced liar.

The OP is clear, it's fact, and you are a fucking liar.

Which part of the law are they exempt from?

Don't be lazy and say the whole thing. Because that will only prove you don't know what you're talking about.

I mean I know you don't, but you'd remove all doubt if thats how you respond.

"Washington (CNN) -- Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, one of Obamacare's architects and staunchest supporters, is also the only top congressional leader to exempt some of his staff from having to buy insurance through the law's new exchanges."

Did the Obama Fluffers bother to read the article before they defended their Messiah?

What you bolded doesn't say they are exempt from Obamacare. Just exempt from being forced to buy from the exchanges, which is certainly NOT a part of the law.

it is not that they are exempt from the law.

Instead, they will be subsidized by the tax payer for any increase in cost for insurance caused by the ACA....even if they do not financially qualify for the subsidy.

To me, that is a slap in the face.

the question is...

Why do YOU like that?

Are you one ALSO getting a subsidy?

If not, why should someone equal to you financially...or more secure financially...get a subsidy?

How do you rationalize it?

Here's the article you didn't feel you needed to read before your reflexive defense of your Messiah

"Washington (CNN) -- Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, one of Obamacare's architects and staunchest supporters, is also the only top congressional leader to exempt some of his staff from having to buy insurance through the law's new exchanges.

Reid is the exception among the other top congressional leaders. GOP House Speaker John Boehner, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell have all directed their staffs to join the exchange, their aides said.
After website woes, President pushes benefits of Obamacare

In the charged atmosphere surrounding Obamacare, Reid's decision only gives Republicans more ammo to attack Democrats already suffering politically from the law's botched rollout.

In September, Reid told reporters, "Let's stop these really juvenile political games -- the one dealing with health care for senators and House members and our staff. We are going to be part of exchanges, that's what the law says and we'll be part of that."

I highlighted the key parts.

Find a grown up, preferably someone who can read English, and have them read it to you

Democrats are the hypocrites here...it's obvious..

All but one of the top-ranking Senate Republican leaders plan to place all of their staffers on the Obamacare health exchanges. But it’s still unclear whether the Democratic Senate leadership will follow suit.

House leaders haven’t yet said whether they will put their aides on the D.C. health-insurance exchange, or keep them under their current health care plan.

A spokesman said on Monday that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) staff will get their insurance from the “DC Health Link” under a controversial provision of the Affordable Care Act that requires lawmakers and many Capitol Hill staffers to enter the exchanges by Oct. 31.

The Kentucky Republican has designated all of his aides part of his personal office, which means his staffers will receive their insurance from the exchange rather than through the Federal Employee Health Benefits Program

Because of Chuck Grassley, the ONLY people who were, by law, FORCED to buy on the exchange, are members of Congress and their official staff.

So who was it that put it in the law that Congress had to use the exchanges?

Oh yea, that would be the publicans.

"Last September, the Senate Finance Committee adopted a [Sen. Chuck] Grassley [R-IA] amendment into its version of the bill, mandating that members of Congress and their staff get their health insurance through the exchanges."

He did it to try and "stick it" to dems when the law was being passed. It came back to bite 'im, congress, and now the staffers.

Then you have this:

"The New York Times reported that Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), chairman of the Government Oversight and Reform Committee and a long time Obamacare opponent has apparently decided to wage his own guerrilla war against the law. He has decided that none of his employees works in his “official office."

His own party put that in the law -- and Issa creates a scheme where no one works in his "official office," so they too get the wiggle around scheme.

They're not part of the ObamaCare exchanges

you lack intelligence.

It is quite obvious.

You cite things yet You have no idea what you are citing.

Sort of reminds me of someone on another forum who was reprimanded...and after that person was reprimanded by the moderators, that person allowed another member go to bat for that person and the one who went to bat for that person got banned...and then the one who got reprimanded went back on the forum as if nothing happened...casting off the one who went to bat.

Only pathetic people would do something like that.

Harry Reid (Drug Mule and Senator, also allegedly wanted for questioning in connection with a series of murdered transsexual prostitutes in Las Vegas) should have said, "We're part of the law like everyone else. Period"

Whatever in the holy fuck you are talking about, I have no idea...

but as far as my intelligence, I am content to let readers make that judgement.

Frank is beating a dead horse, because the staffers are compliant with the law. Tuff that, Frank.

Lumpy1 has a point, but it would be a better point if we can show clearly that no GOP senators and their staffs are doing what Harry's folks are doing.

Jarhead simply cannot compete with paperview on this subject. End of that story.
