Some Reid staffers exempt from Obamacare

They are already covered.

Your attempts at outrage are comical and pathetic.

Republicans aren't even talking about repeal any longer. They know they've been beaten by public opinion, and a president who is just smarter than them.

I'm not even going to bother. You are just too easy.

The staffers follow the law.

Let's move along.

So did slave owners. Guess we should have just moved along.

Why is this in the law?

But it's also true that the law lets lawmakers decide if their committee and leadership staffers hold on to their federal employee insurance plans, an option Reid has exercised

Good question especially since loads of Americans are losing their plans via Obamacare.

Nice of Harry to make sure we taxpayers pick up the tab. Wonder how much those staffers will end up paying?

Wait a minute, if ObamaCare is better and more affordable why would he feel the need to exempt his staff?

Some Reid staffers exempt from Obamacare - CNN.com

They're not exempt from Obamacare. Nice twist.

They're not being forced to buy from the exchanges like others are (incorrectly) being forced to.

But then again, you're too partisan to understand what "exempt" from Obamacare even means.

Continue the hackery.

So you don't feel that members of Congress and their staffer should have to live under the same laws they pass on the rest of us?

Which part of the law states YOU must purchase your insurance from the health insurance exchanges?

It doesn't say that. Hence, they aren't exempt from anything.

If however, they didn't have health insurance OR their plan didn't meet the minimum requirements set up by the ACA and at that point they were allowed to keep that plan or weren't forced to buy from the exchanges, then they would be "exempt from Obamacare". But they already have compliant health insurance policies, so why should they have to drop those plans to buy another one from the exchanges?

How is this not sinking in?

Taz, they live under the same laws as the rest of us.

Do some research.

they are exempt because the current plans do not meet

The Some Reid staffers exempt from Obamacare is misleading, of course, as all of Congress, including Harry's staff, is compliant with the law.

I suspect all union members that support the Democrat Party both private and public will be exempt from the full brunt of Obamacare in some "special favors" way.

Everyone else will be considered merely third class citizens and will be stuck with the bill, as always.

yes of course

"Washington (CNN) -- Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, one of Obamacare's architects and staunchest supporters, is also the only top congressional leader to exempt some of his staff from having to buy insurance through the law's new exchanges."

Did the Obama Fluffers bother to read the article before they defended their Messiah?
