Socialism is more popular than Project 2025

Nobody is scared by socialism. That has been around in various forms for decades. It's Marxism that America first Republicans are against, and Harris-Walz are Marxists. MAGA
I am scared by anything but Capitalism. Capitalism has made America exceptional and I want to keep it that way. Socialism is limiting as it definitely falls short of economic and ultimately social potential. I look at Socialist economies around the world and fail to see how they are better than US.

No wonder Socialism keeps getting recycled and tried again and again with an ever increasing death toll. It's because of people like you, dumb as a bag of retarded hammers with no sense of the past.

The promise of free stuff(and envy) is too much for many to ignore. That is the lure that catches them every single time.

Of all the usual economic systems, capitalism most closely reflects human nature; any other system runs against human nature in some way and therefore will always clash with the natural tendencies of its people.

Like human nature , capitalism requires some restraint on those who abuse the freedoms inherent in the system so that said abuses do not overrun the rights of others. Said restraint must be as minimal as possible, lest the system unnecessarily suffers.

No system should be without checks and balances (restraints) or obstruction of peoples’ rights and freedoms. Again, by comparison, Hallmarks of American Capitalism.

Where does your well-regulated militia practice and who is your commander. It`s you that hasn`t read it. :icon_rolleyes:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

District of Columbia v Heller:

"The Amendment’s prefatory clause announces a purpose, but does not limit or expand the scope of the operative clause.”

Yep, the SC got it right. The well "well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State" was the purpose or reason for the Amendment. "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." is the legal right being protected.

The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess firearms, not only in connection with service in a militia.

You're welcome.

Right to Bear Arms

The text of the Second Amendment reads in full: “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The framers of the Bill of Rights adapted the wording of the amendment from nearly identical clauses in some of the original 13 state constitutions.
During the Revolutionary War era, “militia” referred to groups of men who banded together to protect their communities, towns, colonies and eventually states, once the United States declared its independence from Great Britain in 1776.
Many people in America at the time believed governments used soldiers to oppress the people, and thought the federal government should only be allowed to raise armies (with full-time, paid soldiers) when facing foreign adversaries. For all other purposes, they believed, it should turn to part-time militias, or ordinary civilians using their own weapons.

I`ll ask you again. Who commands your well-regulated militia and where do you train?
Does the 2nd give Biff and Bubba the right to hoard machine guns?
How can you claim to know what they believed? :auiqs.jpg:

You have all the information you need using the data I supplied to you.

In a recent NBC survey of registered voters that gauged the popularity of several things, it was shown that Socialism has more likes and fewer dislikes than Project 2025. With MAGAs eager to classify anything they don't like as Socialism; it's telling to note that it is still more popular than the right-wing plan to purge the government of all whose allegiance is to the constitution rather than trump. When they put out a several hundred-page report about what they intend to do, we should pay attention and vote to stop such heinous actions.
Oh, you Leftists must be experiencing multiple orgasms over that sort of polling.

However, the ONLY "poll" that REALLY matters is deposited in ballot-boxes nationwide every 2-to-4 years.

People rarely voted for "Project 2025" when they voted Republican in November 2024.

People voted for Secure Borders and Removing Illegal Aliens and Reducing the Size of the Federal Government.

That such things are also elements of Project 2025 is only of marginal and collateral interest or relevance.

You clowns are not as effective at Distraction and Deflection nowadays as you'd like to believe.

Translation: America (at-large) has "got your number" and you're no longer anywhere NEAR as effective as you used to be.

Not surprising that the 'S; word has at least gained some limited acceptance on this board!

If it doesn't gain acceptance a lot faster, it will be too late.

At this point in the rise of fascism, it needs to be as accepted as it is in Canada at least.

That is, tipping the scales in our elections by about 75/25.

Speaking of running from questions:
Of all the horrific predictions we were promised when we suggested arming teachers, how many of them have actually happened?
How many teachers actually carry guns and how many times have they stopped a school shooter?

Look at you, running away from a question.
Of all the horrific predictions we were promised when we suggested arming teachers, how many of them have actually happened?
How many teachers carry guns in their schools? The teaching profession isn`t a magnet for gun pussies.
