Social Democracy

There is no pure Socialist country in the world...

As there is no pure Capitalist country in the world...

they are all mixed economies...

Could you rephrase your question?
These are the bullshit nonsensical talking points Republicans make. "name one socialist country that works".

There are currently four to five countries that officially define themselves as socialist states under Marxist-Leninist principles: China, Cuba, Laos, and Vietnam

Again, Why do we want Manufacturing Jobs...

We have close to total employment, approx 4%...

Why would we tell people with better paying service jobs to take shitty manufacturing jobs?

How dumb do you think we are? Sorry we are going to keep our better jobs...

You do know an economy grows. Manufacturing creates many kinds of jobs. High wage construction jobs to build factories. Businesses that serve the workers population will spring up. Shopping centers etc. Manufacturing is the stepping stone to better jobs. The product creates even more jobs. Volkswagen is moving to America. An auto mechanic can make 80000 a year.
Tax revenues increase, consumer spending increases and at the same time declines in Europe thats chasing them out. You have accomplished much have you. Do you even have a job

Marxist-Leninist Socialist States
  • China: Officially governed by the Chinese Communist Party, it operates a "socialist market economy" that combines a highly state-controlled political structure with major free-market and private enterprise reforms. [1, 2]
  • Cuba: A one-party socialist republic where the state maintains ownership of the vast majority of the means of production and provides comprehensive, subsidized social programs, including healthcare and education. [1, 2]
  • Vietnam: Operates under a "socialist-oriented market economy." While the Communist Party maintains strict political control, the economy blends public and private ownership to support development. [1, 2]
  • Laos: Governed by the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the constitution is rooted in Marxist-Leninist principles, though recent decades have seen the introduction of foreign investment and small-scale private markets. [1, 2]
  • North Korea: Operates a centralized command economy heavily dominated by the state with minimal private ownership, governed under the Juche
  • Nicaragua is officially defined as a "revolutionary" and "socialist" state according to its constitution. It is governed by the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN), a leftist political party led by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo. [1, 2, 3]
