because trump should not be allowed to profit from his position ...now fuck off
because trump should not be allowed to profit from his position
How is he profiting any more than any other business?
Or, is his businesses the only business receiving help?
Did he put that in the bill being passed by the Senate?
Did anyone put in the bill that Trumps properties receive special attention?
Are any of those other business owners signing the bill into law?
are you really that paranoid about Trump?
Paranoid? Where does bullshit come from? That's just saying stupid stuff.
Do you not recognize the obvious and inherent conflict of interest in signing legislation that benefits one personally? That's what conflict of interest means.
not stupid at all.
you seem to be claiming Trump wanted this bill so his businesses wouldn't go under.
It covers ALL business.
Government employees or not.
your 'distaste' of Trump is clouding common sense.
The OP asks, 'who is going to reject Trump's checks?' I said, "Not Trump". I also said his conflict of interest couldn't be explained to you - for which you've offered abundant evidence.
I said, "Not Trump
Why should he?
I don't "seem to be claiming" a fucking thing.
I also said his conflict of interest couldn't be explained to you
You are claiming Trump should exempt his businesses from the funds available to assist them in staying solvent.
Should every Congressperson exempt themselves from those same funds, for the same reason?
Should they allow their businesses enter bankruptcy, because they were involved with the passing of this bill.
Apparently, it's in the bill that government officials, and other entities, will not be allowed funds.
Senate coronavirus bill prohibits Trump's hotels from receiving bailouts
The measure was added in the portion of the bill aimed at helping distressed industries with at least $450 billion in loans.
