Your America loathing heroes were not just tearing down statues of confederate soldiers. They were trying to erase US history.Tearing down statues of the Confederacy is not erasing American history.

And the Troll strikes again. Nobody, including the Orange Man, are going to eliminate the history of the nation's Buffalo Soldiers. They are part of this nation's old west history. There were also ample post civil war blacks who became excellent cowboys and still others who were part of the old west's law enforcement.I guess the Buffalo Soldiers were DEI. Just like Jackie Robinson. So when will Trump move to erase them?
Who are the Buffalo Soldiers?
African Americans have served proudly in every great American war. These fighting men represented the first Black professional soldiers in a peacetime army. The recruits came from varied backgrounds including former slaves and veterans from service in the Civil War.
In 1866, through an act of Congress, legislation was adopted to create six all African American Army units. The units were identified as the 9th and 10th cavalry and the 38th, 39th, 40th, and 41st infantry regiments. In 1869, the four infantry regiments were reorganized to form the 24th and 25th infantry regiments.
How did the Buffalo Soldiers get their name?
Throughout the era of the Indian Wars, approximately twenty percent of the U.S. Cavalry troopers were Black, and they fought over 177 engagements. The combat prowess, bravery, tenaciousness, and looks on the battlefield, inspired the Indians to call them Buffalo Soldiers. The name symbolized the Native American’s respect for the Buffalo Soldiers’ bravery and valor. Buffalo Soldiers, down through the years, have worn the name with pride.

These men fought for America even though they endured Jim Crow. These men are the true definition of love of country or PATRIOTISM. Blacks have been the most patriotic Americans in this country even as we have been given the least by this country..

The problem with our young nation back then were the DEMOCRATS! They created the KKK, the Poll Tax, segregation and burned down profitable black townships, killing along the way. Even now, they run failing large cities, where blacks can't really get ahead.
History was what it was. At least this nation recognizes its wrongs as well as its rights. As for DEI. If someone is less qualified for an job that has to keep its customers, patients, or others safe, that person MUST be the best qualified, not chosen because of any race.
