Perhaps you should actually read the resolution for the use of military force before you make those type of dumbass statements. WMD includes three types of weapons. Chemical, biological, and nuclear. Each has the power of mass destruction, and Iraq had the means to deliver them here.

Within the next ten years, there is a very good possibility that the Islamic extremists will detonate a nuclear weapon in one of our large harbors. Possibly, even two or three of our major harbors. Perhaps that will get your head out of your ass, and you will realize that suicidal people do not need missiles or airplanes to deliver weapons of mass destruction.

All it takes is a rusty old tanker with a nuke safely hidden in one of the tanks, and someone in the crew willing to set it off.

Here is the resolution. Feel free to point out where is specifies any particular weapon. Without a Navy or Air force to speak of, Saddam could not deliver any bomb . If Islamic Radicals get their hands on a nuclear device they will probably die of exposure before they have a chance to set it off. Yes there is always that chance that someone will sneak one in on us, that fear has been with us since the dawn of the nuclear age.
