Apparently your company provides a service that can be delivered with everyone working from home. Unfortunately services do not put bread on the table.

In order for the economy to function goods must be produced. Rarely can goods be produced by people working from home. We need people going to work to bring the economy back online.

I'm working from home because I'm an IT support person...I provide a service. Part of our business is manufacturing and shipping product. Those people involved in that end of the business have to go to work. We're considered to be an essential business.

Try not to just think of yourself when talking about the economy!

Based upon your comment, I'm guessing that yours would be, everyone stay at home for as long as it takes. The only problem is that, that is unrealistic. Sooner or later, you run out of funds on your card via the internet, the company you work for goes broke and closes down, you've lost your job and the end result is a major depression, something the left is salivating for, to blame the current administration in the hopes of getting in to power, then eliminating political competition.

The slowing number of cases, even with the massive increase in testing, seems to show that a "peak" is forming in the next week, and active cases will be heading down by Easter. The US has a very slow recovery number, or they aren't being reported properly. As the people recover the number of active cases will drop even faster.

Trump may want states to re-open, but its really the governor's call. Let's hope that they find an effective medication sooner rather than later. COVID-19 is a "viral pneumonia" not really a flu.
