A political action committee linked to Donald Trump used a photo of the president saluting a dead soldierâs casket in a fundraising email, prompting backlash from several Democratic officials and veterans groups.
The message, sent Thursday and paid for by Never Surrender Inc., advertises a new âNational Security Briefing Membershipâ and includes multiple donation links. The message included an image of Trump saluting during last weekâs dignified transfer ceremony for six U.S. service members who were killed during an Iranian drone attack in KuwaitâŚ.
Government officials were quick to criticize the email on social media.
California Governor Gavin Newsomâs press office called Trump a âdeeply SICK and DISGUSTING MANâ and accused him of âfundraising off of dead soldiers.â
Representative Mike Quigley, a Democrat from Illinois, claimed that Trump is âprofiting offâ service membersâ deaths.
Democratic Senator Andy Kim also reacted to the email, writing, âI hope the donorsâ national security briefing doesnât skip the âIran will close the Strait of Hormuzâ section that Trump and Hegseth missed.â

If that wasnât disgusting enough, the fundraising letter promised access to Trumpâs National security briefings:
âAs a National Security Briefing Member, you'll receive my private national security briefings, unfiltered updates on the threats facing America,â the email reads. âThe straight truth on border invasions, foreign adversaries, deep state sabotage, and every danger the fake news hides.â
There is nothing too low for the Trump regime. Everything is for sale by Trump and his cohort of miscreants and grifters.
This is the guy leading our country into a war no one wants but him and cronies.
