So, is the left denouncing Obama's "unlawful" war in Libya?

Bush had almost unanimous support from his own party on Iraq. The only substantial opposition was from the Left.

I swear to Jesus as I typed that I wondered if someone would think that.:lol::lol:

maybe you can stick to the thread TOPIC?

:eusa_whistle:

Tell me, are we witnessing a cultural shift? Have conservatives become peaceniks now?

If so, here's what you should do. Make a bunch of tie dyed t-shirts, pile into a VW microbus, drive to DC and hold a rally while singing "Give Peace a Chance," and chanting "Make Love Not War" when the Capitol Police start swinging their batons.

It's that unwritten conservative rule: you must find some way to oppose Obama even when he's doing what you agree with.

ummm, show me where people are AGREEING with Obama besides you Obamabots.

So you guys want us to bomb Iran but you want gadafi left alone?

Tell me why you see these two countries differently?

We are just wondering why would Obama bomb a country that never attacked us when he clearly stated during his campaign that going into Iraq when they never attacked us and having Gitmo open was creating terrorists. Obama still has Gitmo open and he is bombing a country that never attacked us.

Do you seee a problem here?

Zing!

I surprised that Obama would attack his muslim brothers... Seems a bit odd to me.

Nope because it is NOT obama going after Libya its the UN.

Gitmo should be closed and I dont agree with keeping it open.

We did desert storm for the same type of reason this is being done.

The will of the majority of the people in these countries is being beaten back by a dictator and deaths are taking place.

Was Desert storm bad like you say this action is?

I'm really concerned about all these muslims that are geing riled up because they are being bombed and Gitmo is still open. This is very concerning for our safety. Why would Obama keep doing what he said was a "failed policy"? Is he stupid?

Wasnt this a UN decision, with lots of "yeah, lets do it" from France and Britain?

Wrong. Those are US ships launching those missiles and they are under the authority of Obama, not the UN. Besides that, when did congress give Obama permission to launch this strike?

Gitmo is still open. What should be is irrelevant.

The will of the majority of the people in Iraq was being beaten back by a dictator and deaths were taking place. Thousands and thousands.

I don't think Desert Storm was bad and I don't think the invasion of Iraq was bad. The left did. Obama said that invading Iraq and Gitmore were failed policies. Now he is doing the same thing. Is he stupid?

Annnnnnnnnnnd...the finger pointing and blame has already started. Just as I feared. But its starting here. Which makes me wonder what the plans are over there for OBAMA daring to START THIS WAR while conveniently forgetting about the UN, France and Britain.

no, I am not sure thats it, I for one am still looking for some consistency, what is the deal with Yemen and Bahrain?

The UN doesn't tell the USA who to bomb. According to our Constitution, congress gives the President authority. Congress never discussed this. This is clearly an unconstitutional act and Obama should be impeached.

I'm thinking it's time for Obama to give back that Nobel Peace Prize...

Killing the innocent, rendition, phone taps, Gitmo.. sheesh what is it with this Guy...?

He's also a war Criminal that should be Prosecuted.
