So California is on fire again...

I've never seen it published; perhaps it is confidential and held close to the vest by the far-left environmentalists?

Or it was an FBI prosecution of CO2 FRAUD that ended up hidden by homO and Holder IN THE CLOSET...

You are correct that California Dem elites all know CO2 FRAUD is FRAUD and use it to STEAL from the taxpayer.

WHO is actually fighting against it??

WHO actually has enough fortitude to even ask basic climate questions???

1. Why does one Earth polar circle have 9+ times the ice of the other?
2. Why is there ice age glacier south of Arctic Circle on Greenland but no such ice age glacier north of Arctic Circle on Alaska?
3. If the oceans are "warming" why is the record decade for canes still the 1940s?
4. If the oceans are "rising" why can't we see one single photo of land sinking?
5. How did Co2 thaw North America and freeze Greenland at the same time?

I lived and worked in Key West from 1967 through 1969. Certain streets would flood during exceptionally high tides. I visited rather recently and guess what? The same streets flooded during exceptionally high tides as fifty+ years ago—no more, no less.

A few filling stations saved the oil drained from cars for an oil change. They had an exclusive lift outdoors used for the oil spray. They'd use an old paint spray gun to soak the undercarriage of cars to slow the rust from driving through salt water every couple of months. Environmentalists must have loved those stations! :D

My home is surrounded by forest.... part of a national forest but managed by the state of AZ... and they have signs up asking locals to collect downed limbs and branches around our homes and cabins for our fireplaces... its smart management... CA just leaves it all on the ground and for the life of me I can't explain why...
It is because the far-left radical environmentalists want to keep THEIR forests pure, as in before man destroyed the earth. That is their reasoning, foolish as it sounds.

I've never seen it published; perhaps it is confidential and held close to the vest by the far-left environmentalists? What is the ideal temperature for Earth? If we don't know that figure, how will we know if we're moving in the "right" direction?

As for the fires, California citizens voted for them for decades. Gee, they say, let's keep the remaining vacant just as before humans walked the face of the earth. NO humans are allowed, and NO proven management techniques are known to reduce the risk of fires getting totally out of control. As a result, they don't have fire lines cut through the forests to slow smaller fires and provide access when there is a fire. They also refuse to allow for controlled burns. In a controlled manner, they burn the massive undergrowth that resulted from a wet spring and summer and then a very dry fall. California radicals convinced most voters that thousands of acres and structures destroyed are small prices to pay for the life of the Delta Smelt and virgin-like forests.

A decade ago, voters also approved a bond issue to build seven new reservoirs in the same areas as these fires. To date, not one has been built. Do you think seven reservoirs, full of spring and summer rainfall, would have made a difference with those dry fire hydrants? I kind of think they would have made a difference. But, then, I'm just an older-than-dirt codger from Florida, where we also have huge forests, but we use modern techniques to manage our forests. Just sayin'.
FACTS:
Long before the Pliocene, CO2 levels were extremely elevated during the age of the dinosaurs (which ended 65 million years ago), perhaps at some 2,000 to 4,000 ppm.
Today's CO2 level: 423.84 ppm
Then let's consider what some people consider a resolution so we don't have to "rid fossil fuels"... i.e.pulverized coal (PC) plants. Again links supporting facts So You Want to Build a Power Plant
I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019, 5:49 PM

So MY common sense question is:
What "fossil fuels" were being used 500 million years ago that caused 9 times the amount of CO2 per parts/million PPM?

No cause has been identified yet for any of the big blazes — Palisades, Eaton or Hurst. One major utility in the region, Southern California Edison, is examining whether transmission lines near the origins of the Eaton and Hurst fires sparked either blaze.14 hours ago
At this point, the origin of the fires is not relevant. Modern forest management techniques would have slowed their growth enough for firemen to knock them down before thousands lost their homes, neighborhood businesses, and places of worship.

= NO OCEAN RISE = NO ONGOING NET ICE MELT

The water issue is not new to California.

The Democrat strategy is ... essentially... to enrich lawyers arguing about it. CA spends BILLIONS $$$ on attorneys to argue about water. And no desalination plants I am aware of have been built.

This is not rocket science.

ADD MORE WATER

Fires are about lack of water. Yes these fires happen inside of CA regularly. On the coastal areas there is NO EXCUSE not to have desalination plants in every major population center and then some.

Not sure that's a serious number at all. CO2 FRAUD is trying to blame Jurassic on CO2. That's not what caused Jurassic.

Jurassic = warmer, wetter, much higher surface air pressure

How did that happen?

Little to no land near the poles = little to no ice on Earth = gas trapped in Antarctic and Greenland ice today went back into atmosphere

Inside that ice is more gas than the atmosphere has now.

Earth today has 9 million cubic miles of ice. During Jurassic, it was less than 1 million and possibly zero at certain points. Antarctica dumps 46 times the H2O into the oceans than the Mississippi River dumps into the Gulf annually, all frozen, inside =100F or colder. Take that away and the oceans will warm. Air that passes over the Antarctic Circle cools 50F more than air that passes over Arctic. If both polar circles have zero ice, air passing over the polar circles would not cool anywhere near what it does today, warming the atmosphere. Thicken... aka add gas to... the atmosphere and the atmosphere stores more heat energy, warming the planet too.

Earth climate change is all about WHERE LAND IS and LAND MOVES. CO2 does NOTHING.

The CO2 FRAUD also loves the fires, as the media blames CO2 FRAUD for the fires.

We will see if a "climate activist" or five set the fires....

I am noticing that these fires seem to be starting in the trails in the hills, upwind of populated areas.

Makes one wonder if these are not deliberate acts by some kind of eco-terrorists.

Here are pictures of the Grenada Hills (Archer) fire which started and was extinguished today...

Why is no one concerned about the ignition source of these fires? Most news outlets report the fires were caused by drought and high winds. That is not a source of ignition.

This rare article says that wildfires normally start from lightning, power lines, or acts of arson...

In this case, there was no lighting, and no utilities reported down lines causing a fire, so that leaves arson.

Why is no one concerned about this???

lack of proper forest management and incompetent government is the cause. fires in the west are nothing new, this one is bad because the incompetent california government did not do its job.
It all started with the Sierra Club 'spotted owl' controversy. The environmental group who got started challenging whaling boats and subsequently was successful in kicking the loggers out of the BLM claiming the spotted owl's environment was negatively impacted by logging practices. From there, the environmentalists got new power which they used to close down the BLM to logging and now increasingly to the public. There is fuel build up on the forest floor and it burns.

The CA and Federal governments have refused to do fire abatement. This is the result of their 'environmental' policies.

The people who run California love this. The government agencies, the public employees unions, and the utilities will make a shit ton of money.

The flames are still raging, and the DEI token hires are already starting to eat one another.

I'll say it again: Atlas Shrugged, with a slightly different plot line, is playing out before our eyes....

Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley was fired by Mayor Karen Bass on Friday afternoon, a source close to the chief’s office told DailyMail.com.

‘Kristin was summoned by Bass this afternoon, about 4pm. She came back from that meeting, hugged her staff goodbye and left. She said she was fired,’ the source said.
