How has every other first world nation managed to provide green energy for their nations, without billing every household more than $23,000 each???

Ontario, in Canada, has some of the cheapest electricity in North America and it's ALL green energy. We have so much green electricity that we sell it to 22 US states. We closed all of our fossil fuel electricity plants in the 1990s, and after a brief transition period, all we've seen since then is savings.

We've also had savings to our healthcare costs from the cleaner air. I used to go to emergency a half dozen times a year for my asthma. The last time that happened was 1991. Around the same time the last coal fired plant closed.

Building aren't being eroded by acid rain as quickly either. That's a huge cost savings in maintenance.

Given that American utility companies are privately owned, it's not "households" who will be building the electrical plants - which are woefully out of date, with aging infrastructure, and ever higher costs. Investors will build them.
