SNL Mocks Ted Cruz's 5-Year-Old Daughter

Ted Cruz has proven himself to be a slimy and underhanded (but not quite illegal) campaigner. Using his children as campaign props is another slimy and underhanded tactic. He can keep using them as props (actually putting them in a campaign attack ad) and then feign outrage when people mention that he's using his children as props.

There are a couple of things I don't understand. The first is I don't get what humor could be found in that SNL skit lampooning Cruz for an awkward advance on a clearly unwilling adolescent. The 2nd is exhibited in the OP title that the child is the one being mocked as if to say the child was doing something wrongful.

SNL did not mock the child, they mocked Ted Cruz.
