The regime actually sent lawyers in to a courtroom to try to prevent it from being forced to use allocated emergency funds appropriated to feed people.

It was a bad look for Trump to not use the emergency funds. The court rulings are very wrong, because it is up to the executive to decide when there is enough of an emergency to use them. Better for Trump to have been out front and said "we only have enough for a little bit for each SNAP family, but at least they'll have that, so the Democrats cannot starve them in November."

It won't help your side's position, though, because there won't be any emergency fund when these run out.

American-owned companies that have moved my job overseas (and this has happened twice in my career) have done bad things to me, but they didn't move those jobs to China. They moved them to Malaysia and Mexico, respectively.

The problem is, Trump started an unnecessary Trade War and found out he didn't have the leverage he thought he had, because while he (and Biden) spent the last 8 years alienating the rest of the world, China has been working very hard to ingratiate itself with the rest of the world.
