Six Visas Revoked Due to Hateful Charlie Kirk Comments

It’s definitely free speech. Sorry if that makes you angry, but it is.

I mean, Charlie Kirk himself wished for the execution of Biden.
It's free speech. That's why they weren't punished.

No one arrested. No one was punished.

I know that but he should have been for inciting violence.

No it's not. Somebody recently said that someone should blow Benny Johnson's head off and that he wanted to orphan his children and widow his wife and he got locked up for it as he should have been.

For his crimes against America. That isn't murder. Do I agree with that? No as Joe Biden isn't mentally competent enough to know what he was doing, but still Charlie Kirk had the right to say that.

It's concerning but it's the Virginia candidate for AG. We can't send him home.

No, he should have gotten arrested.

It's free speech. That's why they weren't punished.

What Charlie Kirk said was free speech but not Jay Jones. He was advocating for assassination not the death penalty.

Ok what did the Trump Admin gain by deporting 6 people for saying mean things about Charlie Kirk? Because he's paying a premium in political capital for it.

I was under the impression that this thread was about non citizen visa holders that had their visas revoked.

My only issue is how are they getting these messages. Is the government searching people's social media or how does this work?
If our posts are out there, then of course the government needs no permission to read them.

And, as noted by others, the government has encouraged reporting.

Personally, my view is that if a teacher speaks dismissively or disdainfully of Charlie Kirk, I don’t give a ****, unless they do it in a classroom setting. But a post on the interwebz? Meh. Who cares?

If any legal alien posts about this or her approval of the murder of Charlie Kirk, though, I don’t much care if they get their Visas cancelled.

For God’s sake, an American comedian made a joke before arriving in Great Britain which the mindless woke government deemed offensive. So those morons arrested the comedian.

That basketball playing dude in the WNBA went to Russia with some marijuana and sat in a ******* Russian prison.

The lesson: be respectful of the laws of the nation you’re in. Here, we don’t imprison the aliens who do such shit. We punch their tickets and tell them they have to gong home. BFD.

That’s a little different and I could be wrong. Mailing it to him directly goes a lot to the idea that it could constitute a true threat. If someone had just randomly written that on a website, it would be a lot harder to identify it as a true threat.

So it’s okay to wish for the death of someone if you make up a crime that they committed?

Yeah but it also has to do with what constitutes as free speech and what doesn't and inciting violence doesn't constitute as free speech.

Yeah but saying that you're envisioning two bullets in your opponent's head and their children dying in their mother's arms is also a true threat.

So it’s okay to wish for the death of someone if you make up a crime that they committed?

Biden was guilty of treason but again I don't think that he should have gotten the death penalty for it as he's literally out of his mind.

Depends on context. If you put it in a letter and mail it to someone, it goes a long way towards constituting a true threat. You didn’t specify that originally.

Who declared Biden guilty or treason? I don’t remember that.

Any way you look at it it's a threat.

Who declared Biden guilty or treason? I don’t remember that.

Joe Biden was guilty of an awful lot of crimes and I do mean a LOT, but leaving the borders wide open to leave easy access to criminals was definitely treasonous.

So if the author of the letter had said he envisions Johnson being shot in the head because he committed treason, that’s fine I guess.

Did I get that right?

I seem to recall a SCOTUS decision that said the president is immune from criminal prosecution, so there’s no way he could be legally found guilty of treason.

But Benny Johnson could. Remember he was taking money to spread Russian propaganda.

No. That's not what I said. Charlie Kirk was talking about the death penalty not for Biden to get assianated.

No, but he should have if he had been in his right mind. Then again, there are mentally ill people who murder people and are still held accountable so...

But Benny Johnson could. Remember he was taking money to spread Russian propaganda.

To be quite honest with you I don't know all that much about Benny Johnson as I just recently got into him.

Not at all, no free speech in the US, you get your Visa pulled for saying hurty words.

Hurty words like these?
