Wow, still nothing. No one can show where a Bible says to discriminate against gays and sinners huh? Weird. Are you guys sure that that's part of Christianity then?
The Bible, both the Old and new Testament, condemns homosexuality. However, with regard to how gays are to be treated by Christians, I am unaware of a specific Biblical reference. The Bible does state that those who are guilty of certain transgressions should be avoided (shunned), but there is no specific mention of homosexuality. Here are the relevant verses from the KJV:
“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds” (2 John:9-11)..
“Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us” (2 Thessalonians 3:6).
“And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.” (2 Thessalonians 3:14).
“But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person” (1 Corinthians:11-13).
Note: I simply presented the verses verbatim. I will let others debate their meaning and their applicability to gays. As for me, I'm outta here.
