Show Me the Country Where The MAGA/Conservative Government Works. I Dare You.

Liberal democracies have dozens of successful examples. But I am interested in what nations implement the right wing dream of government that Trump's policies desire to implement. Where in the world can we look for successful implementation of right wing principles of government? Surely someone must have examples of these policies working.

Just for thought starters I pulled the rankings of key metrics of success for countries. Surprisingly they are replete with liberal democracies with high taxes, strong welfare states, and high social trust..

Please keep the flame wars to a minimum. Just looking for a discussion on where the right wing is killing it in success world wide.

Happiest Countries in the World: Switzerland, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Canada, Finland
Healthiest Countries in the World: Spain, Italy, Iceland, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, Norway
Richest Countries in the World: Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, US, some small countries
Most Educated Countries in the World: Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Canada
Most Free Countries in the World: Switzerland, New Zealand, Denmark, Ireland, Finland, Australia, Sweden, Iceland.
Most Opportunity Countries in the World: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany

By “right-wing dream” I assume we mean:
  • Low taxes / small welfare state
  • Strong nationalism
  • Strict immigration control
  • Weak labor protections
  • Strong executive power
  • Minimal regulation
  • Market fundamentalism
  • Traditionalist social policy

GO!
Interestingly, 96% of the nations on your list are White civilizations. I don't see Communist nations like China, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba on your list. Or Socialist cesspools like India, and several African and South American countries. Are you a racist?

You're living in it. Also, Japan is another easy example.

Are you ******* kidding? 60%+ tax rates doesn’t sound very happy. A lot of these countries are cracking down on speech, all of them have gun control.

It’s easy to get high ratings when there’s no decent allowed.
They score statistically very high on happiness. Low taxes do not lead to happiness. The US is unaffordable to the average American. Housing and healthcare leave us less disposable income even with lower taxes than those top countries.

They all have free speech meanwhile Trump is threatening to murder Senators who made a video reminding soldiers of existing policy.

They aren’t doing better. Most of them have huge crime issues due to muslim migration. They don’t have freedom in any way. Their governments run their lives. If happiness is being a puppet I suppose they’re pretty happy.
You’re crazy. Feel free to link actual data supporting your opinion otherwise it’s not true. Last year murder rates in all those places were 10X-20X’s lower than ours or less.

Murder rates:

You don't understand the meaning of Liberty. For example, the right to spend earned money on stuff you want to spend it all and not blow it on other people, ho did not earn it, via taxation. We are not perfect but better than others.
Sure. You have the right to live a worse life. You have that right in El Salvador. Outcomes are much better in those top countries, which makes them top countries. The right to live a worse life is not a brag.

Switzerland
Conservatives sometimes say:

“Switzerland is capitalist and has low corporate taxes, so it’s a right-wing model!”

But they miss:
  • Universal mandatory healthcare (not optional)
  • Strict regulation of insurance
  • A welfare system that is large and universal
  • Maintenance of high public services
  • Strong unions in many sectors
  • High public spending relative to the U.S.
  • Massive wealth redistribution across cantons
  • Very high social cohesion
  • High taxes on individuals
  • A mandatory pension system
  • National service obligations in some cases
It is not small-government libertarianism — not even close. Switzerland is a social democracy delivered through uniquely Swiss tools — decentralization, direct democracy, and pro-business policy — resulting in high social protection and high market freedom simultaneously.

Last I heard, El Salvador has really turned things around, much safer.

They just stopped playing with the gangs and crushed them.

No more mr nice guy.

Oh. Did these nations allow millions and millions to pour over the border and then receive benefits?

If you want to get anywhere near this, you can't have all these illegals.

Everything I hear coming out of western/norther europe is that they are declining fast across the board.

And their free speech? Very much not a thing, not for a while now.

Many of then have, and their systems are collapsing under the weight.

Now that I think on it Gator, aren't you all in favor of stopping ICE raids in Charlotte? How are we about to have a "liberal democracy" if we have millions taking from Universal Health Care while not paying in?

IOW pick a side here

Gator? Nothing?

Again, Gator, how can you be in favor of the lush social programs of "liberal democracies" but also want no part in stemming illegal immigration?

ICE already left Charlotte with its tail between its legs.

Many of the countries you list are not considered socialist by many authoritative sources. I will include one source in the link.

Countries not considered socialist:

Sweden
Norway
Finland
Denmark
Netherlands
Belgium
Germany
Canada
Etc.

OTOH, check the Latin American countries with socialist constitutions:

Mexico
Honduras
Cuba
Brazil
Bolivia
Chile
Venezuela
Colombia

If you can't see the key, then check directly below:

pink--socialist ruling party
orange--socialist constitution
blue--formerly socialist
red--communist

I haven’t advocated socialism. Or communism. Why can’t people address what I did advocate? Right from the OP:

“liberal democracies with high taxes, strong welfare states, and high social trust.”

High social trust?!

Mulitculturalism and political division and race baiting, all undermine the shit out of that.
