Show Me the Country Where The MAGA/Conservative Government Works. I Dare You.

Your orange god says we have to make USA great again because it is not. I agree with your god.

We only lead the world in military power and number of citizens in jail. We are doing very well in overall wealth but not in median wealth due to the income inequity. In all the key areas we are mid-tier to bad. We have a lot to improve.

All these are near the bottom of our peers:
  • life expectancy
  • infant mortality
  • maternal mortality
  • violent crime
  • gun deaths
  • healthcare outcomes
  • health system efficiency
  • child poverty
  • inequality
  • social mobility
  • trust in institutions
  • corruption perceptions
  • happiness/well-being
  • K–12 math/science performance
What makes the US great and why does Trump not think we are great?
Sure, Simp.

We all already know you hate America. No need to start threads announcing it, Short Bus.

Your orange god says we have to make USA great again because it is not. I agree with your god.
Posts "no flaming". Proceeds to act like a complete and total asshole incapable of a civil discussion. He's not "orange" and he's nobody's "god", but all liberals repeat what their party tells them to, like mindless parrots.

"No" 😂

You were already proven wrong on this. Just stop.

Not only did the President of Denmark himself correct the left-wing disinformation, but the Economic Freedom Index shows they are ranked way above the United States in economic freedom (government spending, fiscal freedom, business freedom, labor freedom, monetary freedom, trade freedom, investment freedom, and financial freedom).

They may be "social center-left" but they aren't bat-shit crazy extremists like liberals in the United States.

Denmark has:

  • a thriving private sector
  • low corporate tax relative to individual income tax
  • a flexible labor market (“flexicurity”)
  • ease of starting businesses
  • competitive exports
Right wing nuts sometimes point to these traits, but they coexist with:
  • gigantic welfare state
  • massive redistribution
  • very strong unions
  • very high taxes
The Danish model is:
Free markets + very high taxes + universal cradle-to-grave social programs.

That is textbook social democracy, not right-wing policy.

Lies.

Liberalism. It's a failed and ignorant ideology that results in poverty & misery every time. You literally cannot point to a single exception.
Nearly every successful nation is a liberal social democracy.

They all have low corporate taxes, less environmental regulations, less labor regulations, less business regulations (ie as you stated - ease of starting a business), and infinitely more freedom in investments, etc. That's vintage "MAGA" right there.

Furthermore, the United States also has a gigantic welfare state (welfare, Social Security, SNAP, WIC, housing, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, and a shit-ton more - all of which is killing us). If that's not enough for you, then you have some serious issues.

Further still, those other nations aren't throwing trillions of dollars in "aid" to other nations because they aren't bat-shit crazy extremists like liberals in the U.S. And even further still, those other nations aren't spending $800 billion per year on defense because they know the United States protects them.

Like all on the left, you're not willing to have an honest conversation about policy.

Then how do you explain that all of them rank considerably higher in economic freedom (ie MAGA conservative policy) than the United States?

Explain it to all of us like we're 5.

I agree with you 100%. What we could learn is to not tolerate the bat-shit crazy extremism of Democrats in the United States.

Don't allow Democrats in public office, where they throw trillions of dollars around in "USAID" to launder most of it back to their own bank accounts. Eliminate the waste, fraud, and abuse in government created by Democrats.

Quit being an asshole. This is an honest discussion.

You left out that the top tax rate is 55%. They have cradle to grave social welfare the 55% is paying for. They have universal healthcare. They have universal childcare. They have no cost college or low cost. They have universal parental leave. They are 80-90% unionized.

Nothing about that model is what the Right Wing is pushing.

Our disposable income per capita for lower, middle class and upper classes is 2nd in the world behind Luxembourg. We are doing very well in terms of median wealth. You are misinformed.

We have plenty we can improve on, but not as much as most other countries.

You cant back up your point of view so you are name calling and insulting. It’s silly. Everyone see’s you struggling.

NO. You used average, NOT median.

The U.S. ranks high in mean (average) not median.

…but that’s because:
  • incomes at the top are extremely high
  • income inequality is extreme
  • the wealthy pull the average up

For true median income (OECD data shows median disposable income with link at the bottom):

  • Luxembourg — high
  • Switzerland — high
  • Nordics — high
  • Netherlands — high
  • Australia — high
  • Canada — high
  • Germany — high
  • UK — mid-high
  • U.S. — middle of the pack
Why?
Because median Americans face:
  • high healthcare costs
  • high childcare costs
  • high housing costs
  • high student debt
  • much lower social transfers
Median Americans keep far less of what they earn compared to citizens of social democracies.

If you are so keen on paying so much, just include it in your taxes. I am sure they will gladly except your money.

The reality is that you and others like you talk a big game, but if it came down to you having to lose your beach house, you wouldn't be quite so generous. The same goes for the very wealthy. They only talk big because they can still buy the yacht. If taxes were punitive to a point where their lifestyle suffered, they would change their tune very quickly. We have already seen evidence of this from those whining about the 10k cap on the SALT deduction that had to be raised to 40k in the Big Beautiful Bill due to wealthy Democrats complaining.

Liberal democracies have dozens of successful examples. But I am interested in what nations implement the right wing dream of government that Trump's policies desire to implement. Where in the world can we look for successful implementation of right wing principles of government? Surely someone must have examples of these policies working.

Just for thought starters I pulled the rankings of key metrics of success for countries. Surprisingly they are replete with liberal democracies with high taxes, strong welfare states, and high social trust..

Please keep the flame wars to a minimum. Just looking for a discussion on where the right wing is killing it in success world wide.

Happiest Countries in the World: Switzerland, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Canada, Finland
Healthiest Countries in the World: Spain, Italy, Iceland, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, Norway
Richest Countries in the World: Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, US, some small countries
Most Educated Countries in the World: Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Canada
Most Free Countries in the World: Switzerland, New Zealand, Denmark, Ireland, Finland, Australia, Sweden, Iceland.
Most Opportunity Countries in the World: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany

By “right-wing dream” I assume we mean:
  • Low taxes / small welfare state
  • Strong nationalism
  • Strict immigration control
  • Weak labor protections
  • Strong executive power
  • Minimal regulation
  • Market fundamentalism
  • Traditionalist social policy

GO!
Any idea what the taxes and VAT's with your utopian countries are?
How about choice of healthcare?
What's the populations of your Utopian countries?

Deflection. Denmark is no example of right wing governance in place and you guys still cant point to a successful implementation of right wing policies at the national level.

Voluntary taxes is a weak ass attack. You are correct though. No one is paying more taxes than they have to which is why we have a government to monitor compliance.
