Should Trump focus on red states with high crime rates before using the military on blue states? (Poll)

Do you support Trump "invading" uncooperative democrat states like Illinois to reduce crime?

  • Yes

    Votes: 11 39.3%
  • No

    Votes: 17 60.7%

  • Total voters

And media will carry Pritzker’s water.
Never mind that it’s exclusively blue areas in those red states who skew crime rates up.
Democrats should not be allowed to vote.
1. Democrats are at 19%, so the MSM propaganda network isn't working

2. I'd like to see red state governors work with Trump to mobilize and coordinate local police, State Police, the FBI, NG, ATF, and NSA to eliminate gangs and destroy their finances. It shouldn't take too long.

Democrat governors oppose federalizing the NG in their states.
Why fight democrat governors when Republican governors are happy to help, especially when crime rates are high all over?
IMHO Trump should demonstrate how well Republicans can work together to reduce crime before 'invading" uncooperative democrat states.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker told CBS News the Trump administration has not communicated with his state on a reported plan to send military forces to Chicago, calling the idea an "invasion" and arguing President Trump has "other aims" aside from cracking down on crime.
Asked about a possible military deployment to America's third-largest city, which was recently reported by The Washington Post, Pritzker told CBS News: "It's clear that, in secret, they're planning this — well, it's an invasion with U.S. troops, if they, in fact, do that."
Mr. Trump has deployed National Guard forces and federal agents to the streets of two other major cities — Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. — in recent months, part of what the president casts as a crackdown against illegal immigration, violent crime and civil unrest.

The Democratic governor has amplified his complaints on X, where he has drawn a comparison between California's homicide rate and those of Indiana, Florida, West Virginia, Virginia, Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Nevada, South Carolina, Alaska, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. All of those states have Republican governors who have largely fallen in line with what Trump does and says.
hes not doing it in states,, hes directing the enforcement where the crime is happening and since crime is localized to specific areas/cities it only makes sense to focus directly where the crime is happening,,

just so happens thats in cities ran by democrats,,

do you want to end crime or have a political fight??

Troops on the street scare me. These are kids with automatic weapons trained to kill, not to police.
You think these soldiers are going to open fire on you? WTF?

You are aware that the governor can call up the NG as well, aren't you?
Yup. How about you give my question a shot. Are you under the impression that Red Governors can somehow order Blue city mayors to cooperate with Trump?

If the governor agrees with Trump and cooperates, than the blue city mayor would be inclined to fall in line.

Google said $7,400 a year, still bad. More than $600 a month.

Actually conservatives are often the problem, by constantly driving to lower taxes, and thus take away the money to finance the resources needed to reduce crime.
Cutting funds for education, social programs, healthcare, mental health, etc.
We certainly don't need any social programs. Midnight basketball didn't work.

No. For the simple reason that the large cities and their capitals are largely run by Democrats. Trump is focusing on the cities, not the states.

Can some nerd or geek around here pull up the stats, say... crime rate comparisons between blue cities and red cities? That would be nice.

There have been several and consistent reports that Trump wants to favor states that "voted for" him. That's backed up by the fact that any time a state's name comes up, he points out whether or not that state "voted for" him. That's his top priority, and one of the many indicators of his profound self esteem issues.

What he should do is obvious, but he is absolutely exempt from any adult behavior, intelligent behavior, decent behavior, appropriate behavior, or presidential behavior of any kind. Who knows why. That's a reflection of the condition of this country, not of him.

Exactly my point.
1. In blue cities in blue states, like Chicago, the democrat governor wants a political fight. He calls Trump's surge "an invasion' and Trump would receive no cooperation with state or local police.

2. In blue cities in red states, like Memphis or Houston, the Republican governors would cooperate, so even if democrat mayors resisted, they could be removed. This way local police, state police, FBI, ICE, NG, ATF, and even the NSA, could all coordinate to eliminate dangerous gangs.

LA is in CA. (Newsom is a democrat)
Chicago is in IL (Pritzger is a democrat)
NYC is in NY (Hochul is a democrat)

If Trump was surging in Memphis, or Houston, I would agree with you.

He should go for shitholes regardless.
